“My daughter's home had an enclosed porch on the rear that was installed by a prior owner. The construction was such that we could not have actual windows installed and I searched for months trying to find a company to install storm windows in the existing openings. Fortunately, I discovered Heritage Window Solutions who was able to complete the project using storm windows like many older homes had in the past. They are based in Lexington but service the Northern Kentucky area as well. This was a perfect solution and the room is now much quieter and can be used for more months in the year. “Clogged drain came back within a year. Starting to think its a house issue but I called thomas and Galbraith first and they couldn't snake the drain and made me pay. Don't know why I didn't go roto rooter the first time because they snaked it perfectly. Thats my fault. That same bathroom got clogged again and roto rooter was able to snake it within an hour so I'm appreciative of that. I believe roto rooter has a customer for life if anything happens. Price was a little steep for a drain but Id pay any price for my fiance to stop complaining about not being able to use the sink in the mornings.“

“Hays + Sons haws been the MOST HELPFUL of all the different entities I’ve been working with on a flat roof leak turned interior damage. Lucas installed a tarp upon request, explaining that tarps on flat roofs are “best effort”, but that they were happy to do everything reasonable to help us keep water out while working with insurance and the original roof contractor on a permanent fix.

Then a week later when high winds tried to blow the tarp off the roof, Shane and Jordan stopped by to re-secure it and add additional weight. They discovered a tear in the tarp from when it was being blown about by the wind against a metal mount, and came back the next morning with the resources needed to repair it.

After a particularly strong squall line overnight, I’m happy to report that the area of roof protected by Hays + Sons’ efforts has remained dry and our continued weather-related losses have been limited.

“I will update this at the end of the project if there is anything else to say. I am currently in the middle of a roof and bedroom ceiling restoration. Matt has been nothing short of amazing during this time. I was away on work business when I was told there was water coming in my bedroom ceiling. Matt was out there same day to investigate and scheduled the tarp.

I called Thursday morning, Matt was out there Thursday afternoon, and my roof was tarp by Saturday once it was good to get on top of my house. Matt and his crew were ready to come in that next week, but I held off because of Thanksgiving.

Fast-forward to December 3rd. The crew showed up on time and were incredibly friendly. Matt make sure to be here when insurance arrived to do their inspection. Right now, we are just waiting on the shingle sample and they’ll be ready to get to it.

Honestly, you can’t put a price on peace of mind and not what they gave me from the beginning. Not to mention, they did a fantastic job of packing out my room and cleaning up after.
