“I had an excellent experience with this company from initial estimate through to final job completion. I hired the firm to redo a porch and entrance stairs and walkway on a residential property in Western Queens. This including demolition of an existing porch walls, waterproof insulation of the porch and porcelain tiling the same. Additionally Sclafmore built new walls, rebuilt the entrance walkway and stairs and installed new metal railing and grillwork. The work was done to a high standard and his crew were very reliable. The owner Ralph was professional and responsive throughout promptly addressing any concerns and unbidden even followed up months later. Well worth it and couldn't rate the firm more highly. “I am very grateful for Ranshaw helping me out of a horrible situation with my oil burner. I had purchased a new oil burner a month earlier with my oil company. Since it was installed it wasn't working correctly in starting and stopping continuously all day. That is called short cycling caused by an oversized oil burner. I tried to get my oil company to fix it but they said they couldn't do anything. I then called Ranshaw because I heard that even though they sold their oil company, they might help me because they are the best. They sent 2 highly trained professionals who did a full diagnostic on my oil burner and wrote down solutions for my original oil company to correct. “A few weeks ago, my Elmhurst home had a pretty bad water leak that came from the upstairs’ bathroom and got all the way to the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Not only did it leave big water marks all over the place, but mold started growing from all the humidity that was building up. I searched for companies online and Rainbow was the first one to answer, they came in right way to inspect my house and made sure to start the restoration process ASAP. We had them refinish our floors, install mouldings, close a doorway, and create an arch to frame the entryway. They dealt with our co-op management board efficiently and professionally.
