Jose is a fantastic barber and I’ve been going to him since I moved to the area 6 months ago. Very reasonable prices. His shop is on the 2nd floor of Woodside plaza and you need to buzz office #204 to get into the building.

I am a regular here have been going here for years and I have gone to multiple other places to get a haircut and not only is Jose the most professional/cleanest but he is one of the most skilled experienced barbers around which are very hard to find nowadays. He has a little low key spot but his work is absolutely phenomenal every time. His prices are also very fare for the work that he provides.

Just popped into this barbershop yesterday - most likely have just found my new barber. This place has definitely had to adapt to COVID much like a lot of other businesses in NYC (or anywhere). Somehow, however, Jose (the owner) has managed to make the new set-up feel like a regular, relaxing barbershop with the old school feel, while also making it much safer than other haircut places around here. For example: a couple months back, I went to a (decent) place in Sunnyside for a badly-needed haircut; they made do however they could (plastic dividers, masks, etc.), but they still had like 10-20 people in a relatively small indoor at the same time.
