“Wow! that was the quickest most efficient eye exam I've ever had. I think I was done within 20 minutes or so, which is a great thing because I had to leave work to make my appointment. The staff was so friendly and sweet as soon as I walked through the door. I know they did some renovations here and it looks amazing, green is the best color in my opinion lol the doctor was so nice and I don't have one complaint!! They give you free contact cases, they placed my order for my contacts and sent me my prescriptions. Love it here.“

“The office staff here and Dr. Sunga are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for my daughter today. We had an appointment with Dr. Sunga scheduled for February but her school had sent me a letter stating she was having behavioral issues in school. I had a hunch it was related to her vision so I had to take her to another eye doctor yesterday who had an opening. It was there I discovered how poor her vision really is and she needed to begin additional treatment with prescription eye drops immediately. Dr. Sunga and his staff were able to squeeze her in today to help initiate this therapy. They even called the insurance for us to get this second office visit approved. “I came to my first exam expecting A less than positive experience. I had seen Dr Calinda previously at New York Presbyterian medical group. He performed cataract surgery on both eyes in May. I had two follow up appointments, post surgery and then received the phone call from his office telling me he was leaving the practice. After finding out, he was moving to OCL in Hawthorne. I called immediately to schedule an appointment. I was then told that the doctor would not be scheduling any appointments until October 1. I scheduled such an appointment but was skeptical so I went to see a new ophthalmologist. She encouraged me to follow up with the Doctor Who performed the surgery. When I arrived at OCLI I was seen promptly by very courteous staff and Dr. Calinda who scheduled me two weeks later for laser treatment to clean up my left eye. All the staff there seems excellent and Dr. Calinda is also very good. I had complications post laser with very high pressure in my left eye and I was told to come in the next day for the doctor to check it out. Once again, Dr. Calinda saw me promptly his assistance were very accommodating and kind and he acted very quickly to put me on for different eyedrop’s. I have now had my third visit, post laser, treatment, and seeing much better. So while I was very upset that Dr. Calinda left his previous practice so suddenly I am happy with the with the Care I have received at OCLI I’m not usually happy with corporatized medical care, but this case in medical network specializing in vision care seems to be equipped to handle issues from cataracts to dry eye syndrome. I hope this level of service continues as I am pleasantly surprised.“
