I took over management of a multi-family townhouse where one of the units had been dealing with an ongoing hot water issue. The previous owners had incorrectly installed the water heater and tank, leaving the tenants with only a few minutes of hot water at a time. The previous management team had been unable to resolve it, and I brought in two additional teams who charged a premium despite not having the expertise or experience to properly diagnose and fix the problem.

During an emergency search for a new team, I found CID and called Jerry. From the very first phone call, he was incredibly communicative, accessible, and quick to respond. He immediately began walking me through the situation over the phone while making arrangements to come examine the systems in-person that same afternoon.

Jerry then scheduled his two lead plumbers, Iggy and Adam, to properly repair and install the new system. Before they arrived, other contractors I consulted told me that this particular system was one of the most finicky on the market and that many industry professionals either do not know how to install it correctly or simply refuse to touch it because of its complexity. They didn't understand why the other company recommended this model and brand. Given the spatial challenges alone, they doubted anyone would be skilled enough to address the issue properly and prepared me mentally to eat the cost and explore less complicated systems.

It took Iggy and Adam just one afternoon to redo and correct the piping that had been improperly installed by the previous plumbers and get the new system running smoothly.

What stood out immediately was that Iggy is truly passionate about what he does. He is a craftsman who takes incredible pride in his work. I have never seen such precise cutting and welding of pipes. The lines were so clean and meticulous that I compared his work to that of a surgeon. Because of his genuine interest in his field, he became personally invested in solving the problem. Rather than being intimidated by the complexity of the system or the mess the previous teams left behind, he was excited by the challenge and permanently resolved the issue with dexterity and speed.
