Open 24 today
3 N Main St, Pearl River9AM - 7:30PM
19 1/2 N Main St, Pearl River“Both my sons have been under the tutelage of Shihan Mac Albus since they have been 4 years old. Now in their twenties, my kids have become friends with many of their Kimura Shukokai International peers all over the World. The Pearl River dojo has become an extended family. Studying with Shihan Mac has made my boys confident, compassionate and mature beyond their age. In addition to the international medals they have won, they have become better in school, relationships, and life in general. If you or your children are in need of confidence building, physical health improvement, or want to learn a classical martial art that finds its roots in the original Okinawa masters - there is nowhere better than Mac Albus Kimura Shukokai Karate Center in Pearl River, NY. You will be welcome and will join a very friendly and close-knit community that will become your extended family as well. Goggle does not have enough stars that I can give this dojo that I am fortunate and proud to have in my kids' life.“

91 Interstate Shop Center # 28, Ramsey“Bill Stevens is a great Karate coach for kids. Our kid loved his class, and insisted to come twice a week despite we sometimes would have a schedule conflict. Bill, in my opinion, invest a lot of time to make his class fun and educative. It’s not just a karate class, but a life lesson to teach the kids discipline while keeping them entertained.
Thank you Sensei!“

9 North Airmont Road, 2nd Floor Suite #220, Suffern“NY United BJJ has truly changed my life. I decided to join a class on a whim, and almost two years later it’s become a foundation of my life. Besides what I’ve gained physically, it’s changed my outlook on life, inspiring me to value discipline, commitment and to believe in myself.
Khyl is an amazing instructor. He’s tough and will push you to your limit—no games or excuses here. But he truly cares, so it’s a rare combination of motivation without the harshness.
The team is beyond wonderful . I had no athletic experience at all, and still everyone was so welcoming and willing to help me learn. There’s a sense of deep humility and a pure desire to share with others, regardless of belt level.
I truly have no words to describe what this school has done for me. If you want authenticity, focus and pure drive—this is where it’s at.“

240 W Crescent Ave, Allendale“I started taking my son here a few weeks ago. He is a really, really shy 4 year old who has been struggling with his confidence so I had low expectations when it came to him participating in the class. He has totally come alive in these classes and fully participates the entire time with no tears. He’s even raising his hand to volunteer. His confidence and self esteem are through the roof. Master Lee is amazing with the kids and knows how to get them engaged while also making it fun.“

The school is well-organized, communicative with parents, and has created a family-like environment for all its students. It also has a great waiting/seating area where you can watch your kid's class. The Masters train the kids with a healthy balance of discipline and fun and are very supportive and patient. There are also a lot of fun activities planned for the kids during the year like a spring picnic, holiday party, and a Halloween party. 96 Main St # A, Dobbs Ferry“Dobbs Ferry Karate's dojo has been an astounding place for growth, confidence-building, maturity, bonding, community and family for our now-first degree black belt since starting out as a white belt at age nine. From skills classes to training, experience as a senpei, weapons training, camp counselor experience and now as a sensei, Dobbs Ferry Karate has become a second home and is as much of a family to our sensei as family can be. The instructors, each with different teaching styles and techniques bring about many different strengths providing a diversity of learning experiences for those wanting to grow. And Shihan Chris is both tough and a guiding light for those who not only want to earn new belts but who also want to really excel and develop excellent standing and relationships with the dojo and staff. Our sensei depends on Dobbs Ferry Karate for a personal outlet, for zen, for exercise, for training, for friendship, and is looking very forward to training for more advanced belts. To top off Dobbs Ferry Karate as a pillar of martial arts in the Dobbs Ferry community, the school is also a fixture in the community offering camps and parent night out events, participating in local activities, and supporting area fundraising activities. Having deep generational roots in the area, this family-owned business is well respected by the community.“
