145 Palisade St, Dobbs Ferry“We recently had a kids birthday party at Edge. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Sensei Eric is extremely talented at keeping a group of 5 year olds engaged and interested the whole time. The parents got to watch the kids during the class and multiple parents told me how much they appreciated his teaching style and how much fun their kids had.I love that on top of regular classes, they also have summer camps.“

Township of Washington“Eric was the first black belt I had the privilege of working with. He was one of my training partners back in 2006 when we were both fighting MMA. He taught me valuable moves and concepts that I still use today. He’s a great teacher, a wonderful person and an honorable family man. If you are in the area Loyalty BJJ is the place to be!“
“I did a drop in at NY United BJJ while visiting the area during the holidays. For context I’m an early-40s blue belt living in the south.Everything about the gym had great vibes. The level of instruction was top notch, the rolls were challenging but not spazzy, and the team was extremely friendly.Khyl is a great instructor and goes into a great level of detail to ensure everyone is getting attention and executing the moves of the day correctly. He’s extremely personable and gave me a lot attention and tips for someone who he knew wasn’t joining his gym (I was upfront that I’m from out of town). He honestly just wants to help people get better and enjoy our amazing support.Highly recommend this gym if you’re in the area.“
“I have practiced kumdo off and on for a few years at different locations, including in Korea. Of all the Masters who has taught me, Master Min is by far the best. Not only does he (and Master Lee) stress fundamentals of kumdo, which can easily be translated into any phases of life, but also - and more importantly - takes time to explain why. He and Master Lee are very knowledgeable and very personable.Although my current schedule doesn't allow me to practice now, I recently enrolled my two kids and have been very happy with this decision. My son, in particular, within a short period of time, has gained self-confidence. Martial arts can be monotonous at times, especially for kids. Master Min recognizes this and incorporates fun games that enhances kumdo skills for all kids to enjoy. Thank you, SMK!“

33 Chestnut St, Ridgewood“My daughter has been attending the "Pee Wee" classes with Master Kim for the past few years and she loves it.I am beyond impressed with how well Master Kim consistently works with young children to develop their confidence and Taekwondo skills by creating a safe and supportive class environment. His approach with the younger kids is nothing short of spectacular. He is a very effective teacher and is extremely patient with little kids as they learn and always encouraging and kind when they need a little extra push. He teaches the kids the discipline, respect, and taekwondo skills they need to progress with a great combination of soft encouragement, direct instruction, and humor that keeps the kids engaged and happy while they are learning and having fun. The classes here are lively, supportive, and productive.“
“This is the real deal, for both kids and adults. Bill is fantastic with kids, providing both the physical and mental training that you're looking for when you sign a kid up for general martial arts. And he's a ridiculously highly-trained jiu jitsu instructor with fantastic evening classes for adults that beginners are very welcome at. Simply put, there's a reason this place has 5 stars and you'd be foolish to go anywhere else.“

“DP Martial Arts Academy is hands down an absolute great place for people of all ages. My son attends Taekwondo and Brazilian Jujitsu and I have participated in the Get Fit class. All of the staff and owner are beyond what you could ask for for your child. They teach martial arts and life lessons. Each child must be respectful and helpful at home as well as mastering techniques to move up a belt. This experience has been one that will leave a lifelong impact on my son. We are forever grateful to Master Doug and his entire staff. I highly recommend this place!“

“After joining about 6 weeks ago I am totally hooked . Sensei sets a positive, encouraging warm vibe and this is truly a place to get healthier physically and emotionally, as well as becoming confident in self defense. I usually train with Justin during the week and Eric on Saturdays, and they are both amazing people. Even other classmates go out of their way to be helpful. Everyone treats you like family, and I feel blessed to be a part of it !“
