“The finest most caring veterinary hospital that I’ve been able to find anywhere and take it from me, I’ve been all over Long Island seeking assistance for my friends for almost 40 years and before then, my parents and grandparents as well as aunts and uncles used the same Fredericks hospital on Vernon Valley Rd.

Where on earth can I find a comparable primary care physician with the same qualifications, quality and compassion for myself ?“

“I decided to try this Vet it is close to home and was highly recommended. I was surprised I was able to get a appt. within 24 hours. I have to say this Vet office was spotless, so clean and updated. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We met with Dr. Haley Knopf.. She explained the problem Daisy was having gave her a shot and some meds to put on her paw. We had a follow up appt. and all went well. Our furry friends are like our children and we only want the best for them. I highly recommend Commack Vet. Center on Motor Parkway in Commack.
Had another visit to the Vet and once again very happy with the care. Daisy had a ear infection and she is a very good girl well behaved and they were able to clean her ears and apply a solution. The staff is so good and they take the time to talk to your pet. Can't say enough about this Vet.“

“Victoria, Riley and the entire team at Gold Coast is absolutely amazing!

My dog originally had hip dysplasia in both hips. I elected to have her get left FHO in April 2024 when she was still young. She goes to PT weekly Tuesdyas and Fridays ever since then. She also recently had right FHO about 2 weeks ago as well.

The entire surgery team and physical therapy team has been very amazing and supportive the entire way. Victoria and Riley both answer any questions I have and give recommendations as well as show me how to do all the at home exercises for my dog.

“Been going to Dr Heller for over 15 years since he saved my Scottie and gave us two and a half more years with him when my then regular vet offered no options for his oral tumor. He's been to our home to help put our dog down when the time came. He treated my Finny through his whole wonderful life. I have recommended him to many of my friends. Next week I will be bringing our new rescue Nessie to him and wouldn't go anywhere else.“

Edit: I can’t say enough good things about this place every single doctor, vet tech and office ladies are amazing. They were so helpful through out my dogs surgery and recovery. Candy is now back home and doing great thanks to everyone here

Last edit: my puppy girl passed away on Friday. I want to thank dr perfetto and the rest of the staff for showing us so much compassion and care for my baby girl. It was the hardest day of my life and I’m so thankful that they made the process hurt a little less. Thank you“

“Tried Park Hills Animal Hospital on a recommendation and had a fantastic vet experience. Place is very clean, staff friendly, prices reasonable. Best part is the super-knowledgeable Dr. De-Paepe who we know from seeing many of our pets in the past, and always gave them excellent care.“

“My wife and I have a rescue dog, Winston, who suffers from severe anxiety during normal day to day events like walks, groomers, vet appointments, and strangers. Ensuring he has proper health care is important and all the people at Harborside are truly fantastic, from the receptionists to the tech supports to the vets themselves. We have been bringing Winston in to Harborside for nearly 3 years since we adopted him and every visit they treat him with the utmost care and concern. They routinely go above and beyond for not only his comfort, but for ours as parents as well.

Most recently this week we required some specialized health certificates for international travel & once again Harborside proved to be a great resource. Not only following up multiple times to get us the right answers, but also making systematic changes to ensure our paperwork met requirements for travel and safety. She doesn't manipulate you into getting unnecessary things that won't help your vet reach a diagnosis. And if what is needed is something out of her expertise, she will provide a referral to a trusted expert. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Cronin and her friendly staff. Because it's a small practice, don't wait until the last minute to make an appointment. However, if you need to be seen same day, call and many times they will do their best to accommodate you. “My cat Cora this year, had recently been diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer which was located in her mammary gland, we had to do back to back visits from blood work to surgery and I cannot thank Doctor Harris enough for the work and effort she’s put in. She is pretty much the only person I can trust to deal with Cora one on one especially since my cat can be extremely aggressive and won’t hesitate to scratch or bite. If you are looking for a vet that is affordable and reasonable with her pricing and cares for your animals as if they were her own, you should definitely consider Doctor Harris.
