25 Howard St, New York“As an instructor from New Zealand, it’s always interesting and a priority to try out other studios when travelling internationally. Couldn’t recommend NYP more! Honestly, entire environment is so empowering and welcoming. Instructors are very well trained, they provide such strong class plans and clearly know what they’re talking about, how to modify for individual needs, and make sure everyone is moving to the best of their strengths. Too good!! I mean, I’ve been almost everyday of my trip ??❤️❤️❤️“

7 W 22nd St, New York“I highly recommend both Mila and Monica. I started going to Monica at Knosis for TMJD. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and talented. Within one session, I was feeling 70% better. Within a few sessions after that, I was nearly jaw pain-free. Monica realized that there was a link with my SI joint dysfunction. She suspected I could use visceral therapy, she recommended I see Mila.
Working with Mila has also been amazing. She is constantly educating herself and has a wonderful bedside manner, never judging and always positive. Mila immediately sized up my posture and gave me corrections/exercises along with manual therapy, Tecar, and even pelvic floor therapy, which have significantly reduced my SI joint pain. Other strange and wonderful things started to happen. My hysterectomy scars from six years ago started healing. My bladder which had been shifted due to a large fibroid, moved back into a more central position. The list goes on…
I'm 53 years old and really thought that I was completely falling apart with no recourse. There's so much more to add to this story, but this review is already getting long! I'm so thankful to both of these women. After years of being in pain, I'm finally feeling I have a long-term solution!“

265 Madison Ave 2nd floor, New York“The best Pilates in the city! The class is calming, the instructions are clear and the whole experience has been amazing. There’s no loud music , it’s very serene while you’re doing your exercises. I use the class as a reward to myself , a place where I can be focused just on myself and my wellness. I highly recommend. Take Katherine’s class if you want a more challenging exercise!“

1551 2nd Ave 2nd Floor, New York“Katie has been a light in my journey as a student and a teacher. I had the opportunity to take a private session at her NYC studio ( with Adele) in March and in June I was able to workshop with her in California. I am also taking her on demand mat classes. She has a way of opening your mind regarding the practice, challenges you to stay curious, and to keep prioritizing your practice. She creates a safe space to learn and grow, she is really funny, and just simply makes you want to better. Get to NYC or get online - She is a force that every body needs to experience ❤“

80 5th Ave #1003, New York“I came in December feeling a bit broken and suffering from pinched nerve pain that doctors said might require surgery - I could barely stand for 15 minutes. 3 months of guidance and encouragement from Luis and Joy-Marie, no more pain, my posture is markedly improved, and I'm running, lifting, and have so much more space in my body (and no surgery!). 100% recommend Dynamic Body Pilates, Rebecca and her team are truly dedicated to making your life better through movement.“

“Grateful I have Arrive to offer my specialties and grow my wellness business. I’m a Pilates instructor that specializes in myofascial release and pain relief. They have private treatment rooms where I can offer Reiki and a bigger space where I teach corporate Pilates classes. I love that I can rely on the amazing team to help check my clients in and prep the space for my classes.“

30 E 60th St Ste 206, New York“I’ve visited numerous popular physical therapy clinics in NYC —for everything from back and knee injuries to arthritis. But working with Central Park Physical Therapy (30 E 60th) has been, by far, the most healing and empowering experience I’ve had.
They have all the advanced equipment you’d expect, but the real differentiator is the one-on-one, personalized sessions. You’re not passed off to assistants or put on autopilot machines. You get real care, real time, every time.
My therapist is Rik Misiura , a former competitive triathlete who once led one of New York’s largest physical therapy organizations, treating athletes, dancers, and movie stars alike. These days, he works more exclusively, bringing his mastery to clients who are serious about getting better.
Rik brings an incredible range of approaches to each session, from Pilates-based movement, resistance training, and soft tissue release to breathwork and sound therapy. Every session is different because he actually listens to what your body needs that day. Somehow, he always gets it exactly right.
He also has a few secret techniques - a fusion of Eastern and Western methods - that will quite literally knock your socks off. You’ll walk in stiff or hurting, and leave grounded, realigned, painless and feeling great.
There’s something amazing about the breathwork he incorporates too, subtle but powerful, often unlocking deeper patterns in the nervous system. And at the end of each session, he offers optional sound healing: a moment of quiet integration that feels like a full reset.
His presence is calm, focused, and deeply attuned and he also has a great sense of humor, which makes the sessions not just healing but genuinely enjoyable. It’s rare to find a group with such deep expertise and genuine compassion, and I highly recommend Rik and Central Park PT. They even make house calls if you need them. If you’re looking for someone who can help you feel better, move better, and reconnect with your body on every level, I can’t recommend Central Park PT highly enough.“

From the very first session, Keith’s expertise and dedication were evident. He thoroughly assessed my condition and developed a personalized treatment plan that has significantly alleviated my pain. The billing is also really smooth. Highly recommend Keith“

1715 1st Ave, New York“Good pilates classes with various options and flexibility with timing and small classes and teachers are very kind and explain well. (6am classes, 7am on week ends and 8pm classes)
Only drawback is you can only sign up on the day (or after) of your membership renewal for upcoming classes which means lots of classes you want are full so you have to be flexible.“
7AM - 8PM
1338 Lexington Ave, New York“Nathan and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful. I was in pt for almost 5 months and looked forward to each session. Without Nathan I wouldn’t be where I am now. I can only say you must go to Spear if you want to hear and recover!“

594 Broadway #904, New York“I did Pilates sessions with Halle at Mongoose twice a week for 10 months prior to having spine surgery in order to be as strong as I could beforehand. Now, over two months post-surgery I’m back to working out on the reformer and other equipment as part of my rehab program. I know I am safe thanks to Halle’s careful observations of my body as I go through the various movements and her insightful cues to get just the right muscles to fire. Her studio in SoHo is well equipped and is a peaceful sanctuary for my Pilates practice. I am grateful for her skills.“
7:30AM - 8:15PM
314 E 34th St Fl 4, New York“This is the spot that made me fall in love with reformer Pilates! It became my little oasis of calm after work. The studio is very clean, the equipment is new, and the teachers are absolutely great. They’re attentive, offer modifications when needed, and make sure to correct movements to help you get the most out of the class.
A special shoutout to Olivia - she was such an inspiring teacher that she made me want to pursue teacher training in the near future!“

135 W 20th St 5th Floor, New York“I’ve visited many studios in the city, but this one truly stands out. The space is beautifully designed, spotless, and instantly calming. The reformer classes are challenging, the equipment is top‑tier, and the instructor is exceptional—attentive, motivating, and skilled at adapting the workout to any level. I’ve never felt more supported in a fitness class. Every session leaves me stronger and more aligned. If you want a welcoming studio with outstanding reformer instruction, I highly recommend it.“

152 W 57th St Fl 6, New York“I came to Marcus Forman dealing with a herniated disc between my L4 and L5 vertebrae — on bad days, even getting out of bed without lower back pain was a real challenge. Working with Marcus Forman completely changed my relationship with movement. Thanks to him, I now exercise daily, something I honestly never imagined would be part of my routine. The approach is personal, consistent, and genuinely effective. I can't remember the last time my herniation bothered me. If you're struggling with back issues or just trying to build a sustainable movement practice, Marcus is the person to see. Highly recommend Centurion PT.“
