She’s fantastic, and the entire practice is so well run. She helped me resolve a knee issue and, just as importantly, or more importantly, gave me the tools and knowledge to deal with the issues of it flared up. Highly recommend.“

Instead of doing shake and bake exercises they looked at where the pain was coming from which was my hip that was not moving, and my knee was not tracking correctly. Once I was out of pain I was giving totally different exercises standing to strengthen my knee, hip and work on balance. They are so caring give you their personal phone number with any questions. No surgery needed!“

135 W 20th St 5th Floor, New York“I’ve visited many studios in the city, but this one truly stands out. The space is beautifully designed, spotless, and instantly calming. The reformer classes are challenging, the equipment is top‑tier, and the instructor is exceptional—attentive, motivating, and skilled at adapting the workout to any level. I’ve never felt more supported in a fitness class. Every session leaves me stronger and more aligned. If you want a welcoming studio with outstanding reformer instruction, I highly recommend it.“

594 Broadway #904, New York“I did Pilates sessions with Halle at Mongoose twice a week for 10 months prior to having spine surgery in order to be as strong as I could beforehand. Now, over two months post-surgery I’m back to working out on the reformer and other equipment as part of my rehab program. I know I am safe thanks to Halle’s careful observations of my body as I go through the various movements and her insightful cues to get just the right muscles to fire. Her studio in SoHo is well equipped and is a peaceful sanctuary for my Pilates practice. I am grateful for her skills.“

From the very first session, Keith’s expertise and dedication were evident. He thoroughly assessed my condition and developed a personalized treatment plan that has significantly alleviated my pain. The billing is also really smooth. Highly recommend Keith“

7 W 22nd St, New York“I highly recommend both Mila and Monica. I started going to Monica at Knosis for TMJD. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and talented. Within one session, I was feeling 70% better. Within a few sessions after that, I was nearly jaw pain-free. Monica realized that there was a link with my SI joint dysfunction. She suspected I could use visceral therapy, she recommended I see Mila.
Working with Mila has also been amazing. She is constantly educating herself and has a wonderful bedside manner, never judging and always positive. Mila immediately sized up my posture and gave me corrections/exercises along with manual therapy, Tecar, and even pelvic floor therapy, which have significantly reduced my SI joint pain. Other strange and wonderful things started to happen. My hysterectomy scars from six years ago started healing. My bladder which had been shifted due to a large fibroid, moved back into a more central position. The list goes on…
I'm 53 years old and really thought that I was completely falling apart with no recourse. There's so much more to add to this story, but this review is already getting long! I'm so thankful to both of these women. After years of being in pain, I'm finally feeling I have a long-term solution!“

30 E 60th St Suite 206, New York“I’ve visited numerous popular physical therapy clinics in NYC —for everything from back and knee injuries to arthritis. But working with Central Park Physical Therapy (30 E 60th) has been, by far, the most healing and empowering experience I’ve had.
They have all the advanced equipment you’d expect, but the real differentiator is the one-on-one, personalized sessions. You’re not passed off to assistants or put on autopilot machines. You get real care, real time, every time.
My therapist is Rik Misiura , a former competitive triathlete who once led one of New York’s largest physical therapy organizations, treating athletes, dancers, and movie stars alike. These days, he works more exclusively, bringing his mastery to clients who are serious about getting better.
Rik brings an incredible range of approaches to each session, from Pilates-based movement, resistance training, and soft tissue release to breathwork and sound therapy. Every session is different because he actually listens to what your body needs that day. Somehow, he always gets it exactly right.
He also has a few secret techniques - a fusion of Eastern and Western methods - that will quite literally knock your socks off. You’ll walk in stiff or hurting, and leave grounded, realigned, painless and feeling great.
There’s something amazing about the breathwork he incorporates too, subtle but powerful, often unlocking deeper patterns in the nervous system. And at the end of each session, he offers optional sound healing: a moment of quiet integration that feels like a full reset.
His presence is calm, focused, and deeply attuned and he also has a great sense of humor, which makes the sessions not just healing but genuinely enjoyable. It’s rare to find a group with such deep expertise and genuine compassion, and I highly recommend Rik and Central Park PT. They even make house calls if you need them. If you’re looking for someone who can help you feel better, move better, and reconnect with your body on every level, I can’t recommend Central Park PT highly enough.“

1551 2nd Ave 2nd Floor, New York“Paradigm Studio is one of the best, if not the best, classical Pilates studio in the city! The studio is clean and filled with Gratz equipment (reformers, Cadillac, chairs, barrels, guillotine, etc). Katie was very friendly/welcoming and helped arrange my first session at the studio. She connected me with Camilo - whose energy, creative programming and extensive knowledge of the repertoire makes me excited to come week after week. Prior to meeting Camilo I got to the point with Pilates where it wasn’t very exciting for me, but taking classes at Paradigm has refreshed my perspective and has made me fall in love with Pilates again. I’m so happy to have found this gem and can’t wait to continue. Thank you!!“

265 Madison Ave 2nd floor, New York“I booked a package at IMX Pilates while visiting New York City, as I didn't want to miss my workout routine.
From the very start, the service was excellent - the manager helped me choose the best package for my needs and even offered me a complimentary introductory class.
All the instructors are fantastic, especially Maile, with whom I had a private session. She was incredibly attentive and gave me valuable corrections to my form and movement that will help refine my Pilates practice going forward.
I also picked up a few pairs of their adorable Pilates socks, which I’ll cherish when I'm back in London.
I'll definitely return to IMX Pilates on my next trip to New York!“

9AM - 3PM
150 W 28th St #901, New York“I came in as a complete beginner to Pilates — I have a background in strength training, but had never tried Pilates before. My first session with Alison was incredible. She introduced me to a whole new way of moving, and I immediately loved it.
I’ve now been training with Alison for over nine months, and I’ve enjoyed every session. Pilates has become an amazing complement to my weight training, helping me move better, feel stronger, and stay more balanced overall.
Alison is patient, creative, and extremely attentive to detail. She explains everything clearly and always makes you feel supported and confident.
I highly recommend Alison and The Pilates Room, especially for men who want to learn in a private, comfortable space. It’s an exceptional environment to build strength, mobility, and body awareness.“
