Every sensei here is remarkable. Each one has their own unique teaching style, which allows students to learn in different ways. I enjoy it so much that I’ve even started taking classes myself!

Three out of my four kids attend, and they absolutely love it. My 4-year-old can be a handful at times, but everyone is patient and works so well with him, which I truly appreciate.

“The absolute best gym on Long Island. A HUGE facility. Two mat areas, a full gym, full size cage and 20 heavy bags, this truly is a powerhouse of an MMA gym. The instructors are all pro fighters or retired pro fighters so the quality of teaching is top notch. Classes all throughout the day. Early morning, morning, early evening and night classes so the age old excuse of “i don’t have time” doesn’t work. If you want to train, they’re there training. Willing and able to help! Whether you’re trying to compete, get in shape or just want to be able to protect yourself, Long Island MMA is the only place you need to be!“

“Great little hidden gem of a dojo where its not about the money or the ranks first but traditional Japanese Shotokan. Techniques and count offs spoken in Japanese. Very detail oriented. Kids classes and separate adult classes. Not a mcdojo.“
