I started at this dojo during a dodgeball tournament, and from the very first moment, Sensei Arango was incredibly welcoming. The environment is positive, supportive, and truly feels like a community.

Every sensei here is remarkable. Each one has their own unique teaching style, which allows students to learn in different ways. I enjoy it so much that I’ve even started taking classes myself!

Three out of my four kids attend, and they absolutely love it. My 4-year-old can be a handful at times, but everyone is patient and works so well with him, which I truly appreciate.

Overall, this has been an amazing experience for both me and my family…10/10!

The martial arts institute is more than a dojo to us, it's a home away from home. We walked through the doors in 2016 looking for martial arts classes for our 2 daughters completely unaware of the incredible adventure it would bring us on. First place fighting 7ft trophies from Ocean State National Tournament, a lesson or two in time management, a comeback and fast forward 10 years later through the roller coaster ride of a pandemic, the teen years and a 3rd daughter we now have a second family. My husband and 2/3 kids still training and working towards their black belt.
