He arrived on time, was courteous, and even brought his own shoe covers—which I truly appreciated, especially with carpet in the house. The inspection was thorough, and he took the time to explain everything clearly and offer helpful advice. Tyler was both professional and polite. Five Star Mechanical continues to impress us and we’re happy with their excellent service.“

50 Wyandanch Ave, Wyandanch“Accurate installed my original central air in my home over 22 years ago! I did due diligence when it came to getting estimates and investigating other companies . They were the best quote but more importantly, I trusted Jimmy and those that worked for him.
The workers are polite, knowledgeable, clean and respectful of my home. They replaced one of my zones yesterday and the space involved made it extremely difficult. They will be replacing the other zone for me in the near future and I am confident in their professionalism, pricing and the care they take! Jimmy has done a great job building a solid trustworthy company. Highly recommend Accurate Mechanical!“

Nassau County, 44 Allen Blvd, Farmingdale“Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value 7/2013 They installed a Reem 3.5 Ton Variable Speed system with Electric Heat Back Up and a Hepa Filtration Unit. They customized the system return so it doubled as an Air Return and also allowed Entry into the attic to service the Evaporator System. The crew was very professional, clean and knowledgeable. The A/C Trunks and Vents were strategically placed allowing both walk around accessible in the attics and proper cooling throughout my House. The owner Andy Haugen had made this transition very comfortable for us, from contract to completion. Over the past 7 years I've needed only two service calls from them and they were quick to respond and correct the issues. I would and have highly recommended them for both Installations and Service to friends and neighbors. Trust and Comfortably is how I describe Haugen Bros.“

From Anthony and Dean, whose knowledge and expertise are top notch, to Wes and Lolo and their assistant, the team was competent and professional and left the house as they found it. I would also like to mention that Bill, the “boss,” sets the tone that is reflected in everyone’s work, kindness, and professionalism. And one more word for Samantha who keeps you up to date and informed during the process and makes everything easier.“

10 Lawrence Ave # 1, Smithtown“I was searching online for a reliable company to have some work done on the house. After several raving reviews on reddit I decided to call Yangklin and I’m so happy I did. He was prompt, knowledgeable and able to inform me on what my problem was in a way I could understand. I was originally told I would have to replace my whole boiler system from another company but Yangklin was able to pinpoint the problem which was actually a valve. I will absolutely be using Yangklin going forward and referring everyone to him. I highly recommend him, 10/10 experience.“

Mike and Energy Mechanical took a very pragmatic approach in providing a few "here's what I would consider if this was my house" options. On time, in coordination with our GC and never an issue getting a hold of them.We are very happy with the final results...so much so that our neighbor ended up using Energy Mechanical for HVAC install needed as part of an addition they did shortly after they saw our project completed.“

“ZBF recently installed a whole house (3400 sq ft) Series 7 Waterfurnace at my house. It's been running now for a few months. Overall the system works very well and is very efficient. The cost of the system was actually less (after rebates) than replacing the oil boiler with gas and installing central air without even factoring in energy savings. Attachments: (1) original oil boiler and hot water heater, (2) new Waterfurnace Series 7 Geothermal Heat Pump, hot water collection tank and hybrid hot water heater (all installed by ZBF), (3) Symphony dashboard screenshot. ZBF Pros: I would highly recommend Zach and his team for a geothermal installation. I shopped around when I was first interested in upgrading and ZBF was by far the most knowledgeable in these types of systems. Other HVAC contractors will install them but it's not their specialty. Zach was very flexible given COVID restrictions and getting into our house. He also took a lot of time to lay out the ductwork in our basement so that headroom would not be an issue. I couldn't be happier with the layout. I was honestly a very demanding customer. I'm an engineer and I overthink everything. Zach was extremely patient and walked through all of the options with me. He even was able to score a hybrid hot water heater from a distributor at a good price and didn't charge me anything extra. ZBF Cons: Not really a con, but discuss all of the relevant installation details up front so you know what to expect. I was somewhat surprised after the installation that some things I assumed were included were not. Patching drywall, reseeding the lawn are not included. We had very minor construction issues (and there are always issues). Some areas got dirtier than expected and needed to be cleaned (cutting tile is apparently very messy). Items that were forgotten or missed. Zach was very good at addressing these. Waterfurnace Series 7 Pros: This is one of the most advanced systems on the planet. Everything is variable speed and optimized for comfort. On milder days (above freezing) you almost can't tell that the system is running and it keeps the house very even and comfortable. The monitoring system is great (picture attached). My oil bills were $4000+ per year prior with the upstairs at minimum settings. My December electric heating bill was roughly $300-350 heating the entire house to 72+ so I expect to have a significant reduction in energy costs (at least half). Plus I now have central air which is a major upgrade. Waterfurnace Series 7 Cons: Upon commissioning we had an initial period of a couple of weeks where the system would trip offline regularly and even burned up a blower motor. COVID quality issues are likely to blame. I believe the reliability of these units is very high in general and I haven't had any issues since. While the system allows for very even heat in general it didn't quite live up to the marketing (to control temperature within a half a degree) on colder days. Also heat pump forced air systems do operate differently. In order to maximize efficiency there is a tradeoff during very cold times where the house will be allowed to cool down before auxiliary (resistive) heat kicks on. Fortunately these settings can be adjusted to maximize comfort vs economy but it does require tuning.“
