4201 Yale Blvd NE, Albuquerque“I took a class with Coach Kanani at Gainz Fitness and she was great. She was very thorough, taking the time to demonstrate each exercise clearly so I could see exactly what the workout looked like. She also showed modifications for different levels or if I needed to adjust anything, which made it easy to follow along without any guesswork.
I loved knowing what to expect throughout the entire workout - it kept me focused and confident. During the class, she would come around to help with form, quietly correcting my posture to make sure I was doing the exercises safely and effectively. Whenever I had questions or needed extra guidance, she was right there to assist. The whole experience felt well structured and supportive, making the workout both challenging and manageable.“

413 Montaño Rd NE, Albuquerque“I have been a patient of Gabe’s for almost 2 years now. I would walk my dog 2x a day on top of walking around a very busy Dental clinic. I had plantar fasciitis so bad I could barely walk around work and I would sometimes have to take my shoes off mid day And wear crocs which didn’t provide much relief. I was skeptical at first but I was desperate for relief with my plantar fasciitis. I booked and shared my story with him. I was 36 yrs old at the time I had been receiving steroid injections in the heels of my feet (my podiatrist told me I was too young but said he would administer them). I returned to my podiatrist and received custom made insoles for my shoes. I thought these two things should fix me. I was also buying all the recommended walking shoes (Brooks, Hokas), rubbing my foot on a tennis ball, soaking them in epsom salt, icing them. It seemed like there was no relief. So I turned to 3H fitness and visited Gabe. He let me know that it would take some time for my body to heal correct itself ect. He has also helped me with my vertigo. I wanted instant relief but I had faith in Gabe as he is very thorough in explaining his decompression techniques and how the body heals itself. (Vertigo relief seemed instant, plantar fasciitis took some time to heal). I am now wearing any style of shoes I desire, walking before and after work without pain. i don’t use the custom insoles in my shoes. I noticed relief within 4-6 months of being treated by Gabe. I remember being scared I needed surgery. I kept thinking if I feel like this at 36 how will I walk at 46? So nowAnytime I hear someone saying they are in pain I share my story and tell them don’t suffer go see Gabe. If you are reading reviews and hesitating scheduling please do yourself a huge favor and thank me later; Schedule that appointment you will not regret it.“
6:15AM - 9PM
724 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque“I have practiced yoga for nearly 40 years (which placed me at an age far above the students in the class.) However - everyone was incredibly inclusive. The studio is spacious, clean, basically fabulous with everything you could ever need to be successful in your practice. My class was amazing and the playlist knocked me out! They even threw in the Stone’s Moonlit Mile - that was a first for me in any class. I wish I lived in ABQ and could go here - glad that it is an awesome spot for two of my favorite UNM MD students to unwind and “not think” for an hour a few times a week!“
“As a gym junkie, I can state with authority that I know the fitness scene in Albuquerque, and this Spenga place is legit. Over the past decade, I've graciously bled pools of sweat in gyms all over this metro, from CrossFit barns to bootcamp-style conditioning, most recently completing about 18 months at Orangetheory, where I sustained several minor and debilitating injuries. I gave it my all, spent a pretty penny on physical therapy, and finally decided to ditch the treadmill for spin classes. But Spenga's much more than a spin scene. You do 20 minutes on a bike, 20 more on the floor (free weights, kettlebell, TRX, BOSU), and 20 minutes of yoga. Originally, I definitely had reservations, but now that I'm about two months in, I can emphatically state the following: * I burn 700-900 calories per class * The yoga is super good for me * The music's pretty good (better than OTF) * It's more affordable than OTF * The instructors are polished and personable * The facility is spacious and clean * I'm injury free From a community standpoint, this place is more of a drop-in-get-it-done-and-leave kinda situation, which is great with me, but if you're more motivated by a gym full of besties, look elsewhere. I'll note they could get better at correcting form, and I would appreciate more class options, but I've never lost a penny from a late cancellation (there's no need to reserve ahead of time) and I could be wrong, but I think I'm actually seeing the results of these workouts. My wife warned me not to pen this review; she wants to keep the place to herself. Sorry, Laura, now everybody knows.“

2420 Midtown Pl NE STE E, Albuquerque“I have tried eating heathy on my own, I’ve gone to doctors for ailments they can’t help me with, and all it took was meeting Korbie & eating the way he told me to. I’ve worked with Korbie for less than a month, but my excess swelling/water weight is gone, my inflammation is gone (and all the pain that came with it), I’ve lost 5% of my body weight so far, I’m feeling better, sleeping better, and I can’t thank Korbie & Training Innovations enough. If you’re tired of feeling like crap and not losing weight like you want, I highly recommend calling Training Innovations; if you’re like me, the cost might be a little higher than you like, but like my husband said, “you can’t afford not to do this.”“
9AM - 6PM
8600 Comanche Rd NE, Albuquerque“The PERSON to go to if you want to understand how your body and mind can be in sync with each other!“
8AM - 6PM
336 La Chamisal Ln NW, Albuquerque“I was having tons of problems with balance, stamina, and general overall health due to an old ankle injury which made my entire body off-balance. I was falling a lot and had little proprioception. Then, more recently, I had right breast cancer, so half my chest was removed, which further aggravated my balance. I decided to start working with Lisa, and, oh boy, what a difference!! I am stronger and I haven't fallen for quite some time now, primarily because I am going barefoot more often, at Lisa's suggestion, and I have been working religiously on my balance. I also have more stamina and strength; I only anticipate that this will get better since I will continue to work with Lisa. It's wonderful that she has lessons on-line if one of us is out of town. Probably one of the unintended consequences of working out is I now have so much more energy! Give Lisa a try for 3 months, and you will not regret the time spent. She's also a ton of fun!“
9AM - 6PM
585 Osuna Rd NE Suite B, Albuquerque“Never have I ever encountered a trainer like Jerry! I love the individual time, care, knowledge and program each of us has. There are three of us who attend at the same time, each not only with our own individual needs but our own quirkiness as well! But I’d like to focus on my daughter’s training. Jerry has worked with her for many years. He has been such an extraordinary force in her physical and emotional health. She is NOT forthcoming verbally with needs, discomforts, or even pain during workouts, but she’s getting a little better. But with Jerry, she doesn’t need to be. He completely understands her limits and just knows when she needs a break. He is always communicating with her, explaining in easy to understand language. He learns all he can on her prognosis and challenges, and works very hard to improve her quality of life! We are all truly blessed to know and train with Jerry! Thank you for your goodness, your knowledge, your friendship“

1020 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque“This place is amazing. I am attending the Foundations of Fitness classes. Instructors are very knowledgeable. My body movement and strength improved with just one session. And I have been building better movement patterns even since I started. As a 62 yr old woman, I have never received the care and instruction like I have at this place. The emphasis is on core, and to strengthen the whole core. My posture improved, not just standing taller, but fixing alignment that I didn't even know was off, and building strength strengthen. All this, in a gentle and kind manner, its a very safe space. I highly recommend Square One Fitness and the Foundations of Fitness classes.“
8AM - 5PM
425 Washington St SE, Albuquerque“Had a bike fit with Julie yesterday, it was great. She is very knowledgeable, and skilled at getting your fit adjusted for you. She did an evaluation of my motion and flexibility and I learned a lot about myself and how that affects your fitment. If you enjoy putting miles on your bike, schedule an appointment with Julie asap, you'll be very glad you did.

“This gym is old school iron. No frills, all guts. Never crowded and I loved the outdoor area with power lifting stones and tires, racks and pull up. If you can't get revved up here, you have no lifting soul.
Lift heavy, live long.“
