“Confession time: I tried to 'cheat' on The Optical Shoppe with a new doctor for the sake of convenience. Spoiler alert: it was not convenient, and I came running back!<br><br>I’ve been a loyal customer here since the Dr. Finch days and the era of the incredibly cool Dave. Even though Dave has retired and his wonderful daughter Jamie now runs the business from behind the scenes, you can absolutely still feel their standards living on through the staff.<br><br>I walked in fresh from my 'bad breakup' with that other place, and Lex immediately swung into action. She actually repaired my old glasses on the spot (new nose pads and a tighten-up) so I had something to wear while waiting for my order. Then she whisked me over to the contact lens specialist (I am mortified that I forgot your name—please forgive me, I promise to get it right when I pick up my order!) and then to Kim, their amazing Optician.<br><br>I ended up going all in: transition lenses with new frames AND prescription sunglasses. The whole experience reminded me why I loved interacting with Dave all those years ago.<br>Lesson learned: You can’t put a price on this kind of care. This is why supporting local, family-owned businesses is so important. I’m back for good!”

“Honestly, such a wonderful optometrist.<br><br>The staff is tremendously friendly and made me feel safe and welcome, as a queer trans guy. The office is clean and beautiful and in a great space. Dr. Stauble himself was a delight, cracked enough jokes to make me feel comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable - thoroughly explained everything to me and made me feel great about my decision to get checked out.<br><br>Will definitely come back for my annual checkups, and you should too!”
“All I. Am say is I go her and the other place..this is a doctors office . Your eyesight bis very important. So my ex had a stroke couple years almost now. I took him here. He was so grumpy and just disconnected and discouraged. The doctor noticed and made a few jokes to make him more comfortable. The staff omg how can forget her name she’s fantastic. But they were great not only that he got a nice pair of glasses and was reasonable. Could he had gotten them cheaper maybe but it’s the care, the quality , the cleanliness. Cant wait for my appointment b Thursday. Thank you all you have no idea how your patience helped him that day and me ?.”
