“A few months ago, I was referred to Kresloff by my neurologist just to ensure my vision was okay due to some ongoing issues. Everyone at Kresloff was incredibly kind, and I felt comfortable with each individial I interacted with.
Dr. Arnold viewed my eyes and noticed I had some floaters, and just to be safe, referred me to Mid Atlantic Retina. There, I was told that I had holes forming in my retina, and had the floaters not been spotted, I would have started going blind in 6-12 months. I seriously cannot thank Dr. Arnold and everyone at Kresloff enough for being so nice, and for not brushing anything by. This place is wonderful!!!“

“I have been going to Berlin Eyecare for over 20 years, and it has always been a great experience. It is a small business where they treat everyone like family. After Dr. Potosky retired the new doctors smoothly transitioned and joined the optician, Mike Kennedy, who started the business. Mike greets patients by name as they enter, treating each as a friend. He recommends frames that look good on each patient and guides you through the process and fitting. The doctors take their time during the exam and explain what is happening each step of the way. The office staff are all friendly and helpful as well.“

“Staff is professional and very nice. Doctor conducted good exam and provided a lot of information about my prescription options. I feel first line treatment recommendations should be provided for dry eye before additional visits but maybe this is standard idk as first time dealing with dry eye. I had to do my own research and found an over the counter option that is helping for now before I decide to do more visits. I like transparency on the purpose of follow ups. Will we be starting treatment, deciding on testing, or reassessing symptoms? I want to be sure I understand the plan is all to make sure the time and money is worth it. ;)“

“All I. Am say is I go her and the other place..this is a doctors office . Your eyesight bis very important. So my ex had a stroke couple years almost now. I took him here. He was so grumpy and just disconnected and discouraged. The doctor noticed and made a few jokes to make him more comfortable. The staff omg how can forget her name she’s fantastic. But they were great not only that he got a nice pair of glasses and was reasonable. Could he had gotten them cheaper maybe but it’s the care, the quality , the cleanliness. “Honestly, such a wonderful optometrist.

The staff is tremendously friendly and made me feel safe and welcome, as a queer trans guy. The office is clean and beautiful and in a great space. Dr. Stauble himself was a delight, cracked enough jokes to make me feel comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable - thoroughly explained everything to me and made me feel great about my decision to get checked out.

“They are amazing at Snyder opticians. I’ve never had an eye glass shop as thorough or oriented towards their clientele. I came in asking for help soldering wire frames that broke. They first offered to do it for me (for a much lower price than other locations, $40 instead of $150 ish at other spots). When I went to have them do it, they looked at my glasses and saw it wouldn’t be ideal, gave me a tip to find new glasses replacements for a discounted rate, and then did all the adjustments. They’re just kind generous people. And to top it off have a great eye for aesthetic and high quality glasses. The best“

“Confession time: I tried to 'cheat' on The Optical Shoppe with a new doctor for the sake of convenience. Spoiler alert: it was not convenient, and I came running back!

I’ve been a loyal customer here since the Dr. Finch days and the era of the incredibly cool Dave. Even though Dave has retired and his wonderful daughter Jamie now runs the business from behind the scenes, you can absolutely still feel their standards living on through the staff.

I walked in fresh from my 'bad breakup' with that other place, and Lex immediately swung into action. She actually repaired my old glasses on the spot (new nose pads and a tighten-up) so I had something to wear while waiting for my order. Then she whisked me over to the contact lens specialist (I am mortified that I forgot your name—please forgive me, I promise to get it right when I pick up my order!) and then to Kim, their amazing Optician.

I ended up going all in: transition lenses with new frames AND prescription sunglasses. The whole experience reminded me why I loved interacting with Dave all those years ago.
Lesson learned: You can’t put a price on this kind of care. This is why supporting local, family-owned businesses is so important. I’m back for good!“

“I was recommended by my friend to come here to do the CRT lenses. I thought might as well give it a try since it does prevent my eyesight from getting worse.

When I went in for the checkups, the doctor was very professional and very friendly. He explained to me more about the CRT lenses, the benefits, and what will happen after I start wearing them. He was also very patient and showed me how to put on the contacts.

Personally, I feel like the CRT lenses were really effective and now I can go about my day without wearing my glasses.
