My visit to the Balance and Dizziness Center answered many questions I had about my health, particularly my struggles to maintain my balance as I move about. Dr Galina Shenfeld interpreted the findings in a way that I could understand and answered any questions that I had. Goldman physical is the best. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. But I can’t say enough about David. He is very encouraging and pushed me to be the best that I can be. A professional-type barber spot with both men's and women's barbers with a nice bright environment. At least for the men's they have different barbers that cater for different styles. I have been going here for years and always appreciate bill cutting my hair. Its also nice to know that he remembers me even though I come once every few months. It can be a bit pricey but I am paying for the consistent quality. I also enjoy the shampoo/head scrub they provide prior to the cut. I always exit satisfied even during the rare times the cut is a bit off of what I expected. I would recommend making an appointment (at least with bill) because they are usually pretty booked throughout the days.

Went in the Virile Barber & Shop for an emergency beard trim. Alex was fast, professional, and he did a fantastic job with the trim. A+ instant regular customer.
I started going to The Shop after moving to Englewood. I passed by a few times before booking because I wasn’t sure it was the right fit for my hair. Turns out, they cut all types of hair—and they do it extremely well.
The barbers are not only talented, they’re some of the friendliest guys you’ll meet. Everyone greets each other when they walk in—barbers and clients. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. The energy in this place is positive, real, and contagious. I even catch myself doing it now.
On top of that, the attention to detail on every cut is next level. You leave looking sharp and feeling good.

This is my go-to spot for manis and pedis.
For one, there's no fume cloud of nail polish and acetone that assault your nostrils as soon as you enter. The owners of Karma built their business on the novel idea of creating a space that was safe for pregnant women, children, and those sensitive to allergies by using polishes and removers that didn't have traditional salon chemicals. To be fair, I have no idea what makes up their nail polishes, but I appreciate how it always smells like faint lavender instead of polishes whenever I come.
Appointments are highly recommended, and I've never had to wait long before I was seen. I've now visited a fair number of times and noticed that the quality of the job really depends on who's doing it. One woman is painstaking and focused, creating beautifully shaped nails. Another woman seemed to work fast, which made for one irregularly shaped nail and polish that didn't quite make it to the nail bed. But the service is always friendly, and the vibes are always calm and quiet.
On my first visit, I was given a discount card for a return visit, which was a nice touch. You won't find the fancy frills like massage chairs and jacuzzi tubs for pedicures, but a basic mani pedi service is $55, which I deem fair, especially considering I never have to endure a post-spa headache from breathing in fumes..
Finding parking can be a beast of a job in this area. It's paid street parking only (through the ParkMobile app), and spots can be limited depending on the time of day because of how many businesses are in the area. You might have to circle a few times, but I've since learned to include at least a five to ten minute time cushion when booking appointments just to look for parking.

Ms. Moon and her team are absolutely fantastic ! I went here based on the reviews to get my nails done for the first time ever and Moon explained everything and calmed my nerves. This is now my second visit and im completely in love with the work they do! I got gel fill-ins and they fixed my broken nail extension as well (which is on me for waiting too long to redo them)

The Pro Addiction Keratin treatment is magic for hair! My hair in naturally wavy but fine. After having a baby it was just a mess of broken hair that was too light to lay any sort of way and was always just sticking up all over the place and impossible to style. Now I can just blow dry and smooth a tiny bit with a round brush and it's done. NO FLAT IRON NEEDED! Also holds a curl beautifully with the Dyson Airwrap. A week and a half later and I am still beyond thrilled with the result! Not only is it the healthiest of the treatments on the market, NO formaldehyde but it actually works! And you can wash your hair right after if you wanted. None of that 4 days of no washing, no getting it wet at all, don't tuck your hair behind your eyes, no ponytails etc. THE BEST.

My skin, just after one treatment, feels so smooth and is definitely radiant! Sans makeup. My lymphatic massage with Yeni was also THE BEST massage I ever had, hands down.

As a long term neighbor (a couple of blocks away) and home owner who now as retired university professor and advanced diy mechanic who as an hobbyist sports car amateur racer and motorcyclist had no problem installing our new home boiler, water heater and gas bbq all a couple of times, but now at 83 years old and knowing my limitations called on John and Steven to rework our gas line for a new gas stove. As they had done on other normal plumbing issues with our 70 year old house, Steven came and installed new gas service and the new oven as well as providing good company for my wife and I, which made tech chats with me and advice for a renovation notion with my wife not only rewarding for his attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction, but his prompt and attentive service priced fairly and just a good all around experience. We couldn’t have been more pleased with their work and their good nature and recommend them highly.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Dr Press passed away.
Dr Press was the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to. Following a hip operation I was having issues still with pelvic tilt and very spazzy hip flexors. Over the course of several appointments, Dr Press relieved much of the tension. It was Dr Press that showed me how vital the illiacus and soas muscles were to getting the most out of the operation I had.
Above all Dr Press was just a great guy. Always smiling and joking and it was always a pleasure to come to the office.

His knowledge of the body combined with his unique massage techniques lets my body melt into the table receiving a thorough therapeutic and relaxing massage. He also teaches the importance of physical strength through weight training and stretching offering his expertise to me as well. And he even has his own sauna for me to use.
