My visit to the Balance and Dizziness Center answered many questions I had about my health, particularly my struggles to maintain my balance as I move about. The whole team conducted themselves with professionalism. I was treated with respect, and my questions were often anticipated and always answered completely. I especially appreciated the savings of time and angst, having all testing accomplished in one afternoon and in one location. Dr Galina Shenfeld interpreted the findings in a way that I could understand and answered any questions that I had. She recommended what my next steps could be and made referrals that would work for me. I am so grateful that I visited the Balance and Dizziness Center and recommend that others who are having balance and/or dizziness would benefit from going there as well.

A professional-type barber spot with both men's and women's barbers with a nice bright environment. At least for the men's they have different barbers that cater for different styles. I have been going here for years and always appreciate bill cutting my hair. Its also nice to know that he remembers me even though I come once every few months. It can be a bit pricey but I am paying for the consistent quality. I also enjoy the shampoo/head scrub they provide prior to the cut. I always exit satisfied even during the rare times the cut is a bit off of what I expected. I would recommend making an appointment (at least with bill) because they are usually pretty booked throughout the days.

I was in Englewood for an appointment that was cancelled and needed a super stylish haircut and a single process for gray roots. I am a Broadway actor and my hair is super critical. I was going to go to Moxie since I have a Moxienin Secaucus (where I live). I am happy I didn't. SANDRA- the owner of De Vinci took 2.5 hours with me and gave me a great haircut and the perfect color for my hair - that can pull red really bad. We looked thru swatches of color that might be suitable for my skin tone. We decided on the perfect color and took the risk. Customers who are walk ins can be really dicey. Sandra is a supreme colorist- a very unique talent. She understands hair and she wants to make you happy. I would highly recommend Da Vinci for your hair color and style needs.

Kink Salon is amazing! Angelo (the owner) is truly the heart of this place. He’s so warm, welcoming, and insanely talented. I always feel like he really listens to what I want and somehow makes it even better than I imagined. Every cut and color I've had with him has been flawless.

I started going to The Shop after moving to Englewood. I passed by a few times before booking because I wasn’t sure it was the right fit for my hair. Turns out, they cut all types of hair—and they do it extremely well.
The barbers are not only talented, they’re some of the friendliest guys you’ll meet. Everyone greets each other when they walk in—barbers and clients. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. The energy in this place is positive, real, and contagious. I even catch myself doing it now.
On top of that, the attention to detail on every cut is next level. You leave looking sharp and feeling good.

This is my go-to spot for manis and pedis.
For one, there's no fume cloud of nail polish and acetone that assault your nostrils as soon as you enter. The owners of Karma built their business on the novel idea of creating a space that was safe for pregnant women, children, and those sensitive to allergies by using polishes and removers that didn't have traditional salon chemicals. To be fair, I have no idea what makes up their nail polishes, but I appreciate how it always smells like faint lavender instead of polishes whenever I come.
Appointments are highly recommended, and I've never had to wait long before I was seen. I've now visited a fair number of times and noticed that the quality of the job really depends on who's doing it. One woman is painstaking and focused, creating beautifully shaped nails. Another woman seemed to work fast, which made for one irregularly shaped nail and polish that didn't quite make it to the nail bed. But the service is always friendly, and the vibes are always calm and quiet.
On my first visit, I was given a discount card for a return visit, which was a nice touch. You won't find the fancy frills like massage chairs and jacuzzi tubs for pedicures, but a basic mani pedi service is $55, which I deem fair, especially considering I never have to endure a post-spa headache from breathing in fumes..
Finding parking can be a beast of a job in this area. It's paid street parking only (through the ParkMobile app), and spots can be limited depending on the time of day because of how many businesses are in the area. You might have to circle a few times, but I've since learned to include at least a five to ten minute time cushion when booking appointments just to look for parking.

Ms. Moon and her team are absolutely fantastic ! I went here based on the reviews to get my nails done for the first time ever and Moon explained everything and calmed my nerves. This is now my second visit and im completely in love with the work they do! I got gel fill-ins and they fixed my broken nail extension as well (which is on me for waiting too long to redo them)

The Pro Addiction Keratin treatment is magic for hair! My hair in naturally wavy but fine. After having a baby it was just a mess of broken hair that was too light to lay any sort of way and was always just sticking up all over the place and impossible to style. Now I can just blow dry and smooth a tiny bit with a round brush and it's done. NO FLAT IRON NEEDED! Also holds a curl beautifully with the Dyson Airwrap. A week and a half later and I am still beyond thrilled with the result! Not only is it the healthiest of the treatments on the market, NO formaldehyde but it actually works! And you can wash your hair right after if you wanted. None of that 4 days of no washing, no getting it wet at all, don't tuck your hair behind your eyes, no ponytails etc. THE BEST.

I absolutely loved my pedicure. There is a built in massage with the scrub and lotion. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend for a fully relaxing experience!

My wax specialist was Victoria. I got a Brazilian and it was one of the quickest, least painful, and best waxes I have ever gotten. I would definitely book with Victoria if you are looking to get a Brazilian, her technique was amazing!

My skin, just after one treatment, feels so smooth and is definitely radiant! Sans makeup. My lymphatic massage with Yeni was also THE BEST massage I ever had, hands down.

My oil fired boiler was in bad shape. I got an estimate for converting from one company and it was very expensive. I kept delaying the decision, but November came and I was tired of worrying that it could die any day. I asked my old friend who is a realtor if she knew any good plumbers. She referred me her go-to plumber, John. I called him and he came to look that evening after work. He is a confident and wonderful guy who has a habit of saying “trust me!” and explained what he will do. I already trusted him 100% and could feel I was in good hands.
He gave me an estimate the following day and it was totally fair. I accepted the proposal right away. It was interesting and strange enough that my boiler died that night. What a timing!
He came on the next day (Sunday) prepared for the big job. He and his son, Steven, completed the conversion in 2 days. Father and son duo did a wonderful job. They are a godsend, true professionals and such nice people. Thanks to them, we are having warm and happy holidays.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Dr Press passed away.
Dr Press was the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to. Following a hip operation I was having issues still with pelvic tilt and very spazzy hip flexors. Over the course of several appointments, Dr Press relieved much of the tension. It was Dr Press that showed me how vital the illiacus and soas muscles were to getting the most out of the operation I had.
Above all Dr Press was just a great guy. Always smiling and joking and it was always a pleasure to come to the office.

This place is an absolute gem. Back in 2024, I had a very rough delivery and C-section, and with Mina’s help, my body recovered back to normal. I lost 25 pounds in the first month doing 10 postpartum sessions along with 10 diet detox sessions.
Recently, I unexpectedly had to undergo a laparotomy just one month before my sister’s wedding. Recovery was very difficult, and I decided to reach out to Mina again. She recommended the diet detox program — and wow, she has upgraded everything. More machines, more advanced treatments, and incredible results. She reduced about 90% of my abdominal swelling, and I was able to fit comfortably into my dress again. I also noticed my arms and shoulders became so much slimmer that I probably could have gone down a dress size.
My sister, the bride, also had a last-minute emergency when her altered wedding dress became too tight just one week before the wedding. She did two diet detox massages, and by the wedding day the dress was actually loose. She also did the K-Meso facial (by K), and after just one session she immediately noticed a glow and improvement in her skin. She ended up doing another treatment two days before the wedding. Even her makeup artist noticed a huge difference compared to her previous makeup trial and kept asking what she had done because her makeup applied so beautifully.
Mina is truly one of a kind. She has such a caring heart and genuinely loves what she does. She is irreplaceable and the only Oketani master in the area. I was also able to wean off breastfeeding very smoothly with just 5 massages over 3 weeks.
Special shout out to Mia and K as well, who worked alongside Mina to help both my sister and me look and feel beautiful for the big day.

One important tip: postpartum care and diet detox treatments should be done consistently and close together for the best results. I went 2–3 times a week and saw amazing results. I had friends who spread their sessions out over months and did not experience the same outcome. Timing really matters — start as soon as you’re discharged from the hospital if possible.
Donay is a superb professional massage therapist. His knowledge of the body combined with his unique massage techniques lets my body melt into the table receiving a thorough therapeutic and relaxing massage. He also teaches the importance of physical strength through weight training and stretching offering his expertise to me as well. And he even has his own sauna for me to use. I will see again for a massage very soon.

I had an extremely stressful week and needed something powerful to create a change in how I was feeling. I contacted the Therapist (Judy) for a cupping session as I know of the transformative effects of this Ancient Therapy. She coupled this with a 1/2 hour massage session. I was in awe at her skills with both the dry and moving Cupping methods. If you've never tried Cupping in its traditional form you are missing out on a lot. Thank you Judy for transforming my day and my health.
