I began treatment with Dr. Kim at 43 after a (1) cancelled egg retrieval cycle due to poor response and (1) failed cycle after no embryos made it to blastocyst. All my numbers were low low. Dr. Kim told me to give it 90 days of treatment before trying again.
I drank the herbs, followed her list of daily supplements & activities, and did acupuncture twice a week. My next cycle was three months later and I had triple the response as initially! But my embryos tested abnormal. I immediately did another cycle and got (1) healthy day 6 embryo.

Before starting our fourth IVF cycle, we decided to combine eastern and western medicine by giving it a big shot with Dr Kim. Between eastern and western medicine, you often hear very conflicting information, such as whether egg quality can truly improve.
We were pretty much ready to accept that children may not be in our future after 3 failed IUIs and 3 failed IVF cycles. With Dr Kim, my wife did acupuncture 2x per week and we also purchased the herbal medicine every 20 days. She requested that we give her minimum 3-4 months (ideally 6 months) before we did our 4th and last IVF round.
