I've never attended an actual Catholic mass here, but I can't say enough about the ornate detailing and serene atmosphere. The grounds outside are nice to sit in before and after, with a little stream and bridge over top.“

From the moment of my first call to Ivis, I knew we were in good hands. She made sure there was a seamless transition, calling me and keeping me posted along the way, even during early morning hours. Marty made us feel confident in all of our decision making and helped us with everything, including making sure we had good pricing. My dad has used Marty for years, and now we 100% understand why. You are in good hands with everyone on the team. It’s a horrible reason to come here, but the entire Goldstein Funeral Chapel team makes you feel like a person. There was no stress, and they keep in contact with you along the way. Thank you again, my family and I are forever grateful!“

95 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge“Somerset Hills handled my husband's cremation. He is not interred there, but on two separate occasions they have graciously helped me, both with placing his ashes in an urn I had purchased, and then later with re-opening the urn to place some small mementos inside it. The entire staff there is wonderful and very accommodating. There was no charge for either of the additional services they provided to me, and their hours of operation are extremely convenient. I highly recommend Somerset Hills Memorial Park & Chapel Mausoleum.“

809 S Main St #1, Manville“Adam and the team at Kulinski Memorials was outstanding during one of the most difficult periods our family has faced, their kindness, attention to detail, and dedication helped us design a one-of-a-kind tribute for our grandmother, and Adam took the time to answer every question, guide us through the process, and make sure the final memorial reflected the love and respect.“

152 N Main St, Milltown“I cannot say enough about the care and compassion we received from Bronson & McNamara during such a difficult time. From the very first conversation, John, Chris and George treated our family with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. They guided us through every detail with sensitivity, never making us feel rushed or overwhelmed, and always taking the time to answer our questions.
The service itself was beautifully handled—everything was organized with such attention and dignity, allowing us to focus on honoring our Mom and being together as a family. I liked that they only hold one service at a time. The space was warm, welcoming, and even had a clean, comforting scent that made the environment feel peaceful and well cared for.
What truly stood out was how much they went above and beyond for our family. They traveled all the way to New York to bring our loved one into their care, which meant so much to us during an already overwhelming time.
Their empathy made an incredibly hard experience a little easier to bear, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of support during such a tender time.“
“As other reviewers have said, I agree 100%, Craig is the best!! Super personable. Can't say enough positives about him. Thanks so much for helping us with the loss of our mother. HIGHLY recommended!!“

Special thanks to Joanna, Megan and Anne for going above and beyond. Their support made a world of difference to our family, and we truly felt like we were in caring hands throughout.
We highly recommend Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home to any family in need of compassionate and professional funeral services.“

205 S Main St, Manville“23 years after our father’s cremation, I showed up asking for guidance on how to open the marble box and divide his cremains for each of us, his children. John went above and beyond. I showed up for guidance and instead was relieved of all of the work and pressure to complete the task. John called me two days later and thought of every single detail I wouldn’t have even known to consider. All with such empathy and compassion! I’m so beyond grateful. No one wants to need funeral service but the reality is that we all eventually do. Your loved ones are in the best hands possible if you choose John and Fucillo & Warren.“

111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville“We used the Bruce Van Arsdale Funeral Home in 2015 for my mother and last week for my father. I highly recommend this business. Burying a parent is quite stressful and Bruce and his team were wonderful in eliminating, mitigating or disguising the many potential sources of stress during the process. Bruce was a compassionate voice in leading our family in the funeral arrangements from when he was first notified of my father’s passing through to my father’s burial. Bruce’s many relationships in the area were key to solving a problem we had with getting a Priest for the Funeral Mass as well as getting Police assistance in Raritan and with the State Police during the Funeral procession. While burying a loved one is something no one wants to deal with, Bruce and his team will assure that your loved one gets a good send off and the family does not endure any additional hardships during the funeral process.“

101 S Finley Ave, Basking Ridge“I can not say enough about how wonderful the team at Gallaway & Crane was in helping my family say good bye to my mother. I had to orchestrate her funeral from 1000 miles away and they were kind, helpful and always available when I called. They made recommendations for the florist and the repast (Basking Ridge Country Club) which greatly exceeded my expectations. When I lost the cremation certificate the night before the burial--and you can't inter ashes without it--Mike Galaway took my panicked call at 9 pm on a Sunday night and told me he'd get me a duplicate first thing in the morning and to not worry. They came through for me and our internment at 10 am at a cemetery in Staten Island was completed as planned. The service was executed exactly as I hoped, the flowers were gorgeous, the food at the repast was excellent and most of all, my mother was treated with dignity and respect. I have nothing but high praise for these outstanding and dedicated professionals.“

Christopher helped me and my family plan funeral services for my sister's home going celebration. Christopher was passionate, very knowledgeable, professional, patient, and paid very close attention to the family's feelings and requests . He made suggestions that we were not even thinking of. The obituary, prayer cards, abd programs were top notch. I was very impressed. By putting our trust in Christopher,, he made a very sad situation bearable. Thank you once again to Chriatopher Hassan and Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Home.“

17 S Adelaide Ave, Highland Park“Having to work out the services arrangements for a funeral given the circumstances is a horrible thing to be doing but Dan made this a very supportive experience. He was very informative and transparent in the process.
I had to go through the arrangements last month and it was very difficult but this location was very convenient, the services were financially friendly, and the entire process was seamless. Dan is very accommodating to whatever you need to help you through this time.
There is also a room on the side which was very helpful for people to be in and out of - it was peaceful as the entire place is to yourself so it feels more intimate during such a horrible grieving process. Thanks to Dan and his team it was a little easier.“

411 W Broad St, Westfield“Plinton-Curry Funeral Home provided Stellar service for my Mommy COOL. My initial call to the main telephone number was received by someone who answered with respectful questions about how they could be of service. I told them we were in Florida and wanted to keep my Mommy with me forever. I was informed that it was not possible, but they definitely could bring my Mommy back from Florida without a problem. Low and behold, COOL was back in NJ in no time. Plinton-Curry made contact to a minimum but completed all tasks beyond exceptional: the care of the body, contract for arrangements, programs including an online link on the day of the services, a day before viewing, and Homegoing Service, and calls afterward to check in on our family and to see if we need anything, even way after the bill was satisfied. This review comes from Cheryl Skeete, which means the world. Please continue providing your 5-star service to all.“

“I would like to give a big thank you to Joe and John for the wonderful work the two did servicing our family. I had to sadly say goodbye to my 13 year old daughter due to cancer, and from the beginning, the two have shown great care to our situation. From sitting down for the initial conversation, to having to make that call in the middle of the night, to the funeral service and up to the burial, we felt we were in good hands. Although I hope I do not have to step foot in that building for quite some time (sorry Joe), I would 100% seek their services again. God bless and thank you for your words, support, and just blessings. The day we met I actually had gotten the wrong place but now I understand it was God who knew that this would be the business to help and support me at my and my family lowest. If anyone is ever weary or simply unsure rest assure that Sheenan Funeral Home is the best place to go to.“
