“Used a much larger company before (for mini splits purchase and install) and called them once again, since we had an already established business relationship) to troubleshoot my heating issue only to be disappointed once again by that company. Well, I live by the 3 strikes and you’re out rule so I decided to call Charles Ober and Son. We couldn’t be happier! “I called Andy and he responded and asked me for my address. He was really close by and he and his son came quickly and repaired the issue we had in our crawl space which was a loose nut on one of the shower pipes and also the AC drain line was clogged and that was fixed and then connected to the sump pump in our crawl space. Super fast and professional and it cost us barely anything. I recommend them 100%.Service: HVAC duct & vent cleaning“
“Bill is awesome! I may or may not of broken the valve to my radiator when I was trying to bleed my ancient radiators. Water was leaking and after two days the 2nd floor of the home was no longer heating. I called East Falls Plumbing & Heating on a Friday or Saturday and Bill came over on Monday. He was able to save my radiator and now my home heats nice and evenly.“

“SK Heating came recommended by a trusted friend who knew I was in a bind with a heating issue just before COVID. In the dead of winter, Saki came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I know he wedged me into an already-tight schedule and it was life-saving move! Since then I have used SK for routine maintenance and repairs. Today, I experienced another issue with a pressure valve on a heater that is on its last legs. Saki came over, diagnosed the problem and we have a repair visit scheduled for later this week. He was frank about the age of the heater and we discussed the possibility that it needs replacement, but he was honest and fair and said he could do a repair so I can get another few years out of it. I so appreciate the honesty and expert advise! Saki is not only reliable, thorough and knowledgeable, he's a decent guy! A real gentleman! I would not trust my Heating/HVAC repair and service to anyone else.“

“I'm not big on giving reviews or references. That said, when a company goes above and beyond, not to do so would be negligent of me. First, I've alway had central air. I moved into a condo and needed through the wall AC units and was referred Jarman. Bob took hours over several phone calls and educated me on AC units. How not to oversize the unit (BTU's), installation among a myriad of other issues I should consider. Never any pressure to purchase. I had two units installed yesterday. His installers are extremely qualified and did an excellent job. Professional is an understatement. At the very least, I recommend that you talk with Bob before going anywhere else. He knows his business and is willing to educate you on what you need. If I could give his company 10 stars, I would.Service: Install AC“

“My water heater failed on a Tuesday morning. I called Joe and left a message explaining what happened. 30 minutes later he called me back to ask me for some more details, then got back to me about a half hour later with a price and a time slot for 9am the next day. His team came in I had a new heater installed and running two hours later. They were friendly, professional, worked quickly and left everything as clean as they found it. I'm calling Joe next Spring to install some split units in my house, and I recommend you do, too.“

“We recently bought a house and needed to replace the HVAC system. We got a few estimates and ended up going with Sanders, primarily because of their attention to detail and thinking through what was going to be the best for a replacement system. Many HVAC companies just want to come in and replace whatever you have with a new version of the same thing without considering proper sizing, ducting, etc. Rich and Bill from Sanders took a lot of time to think through the best way to do things and answer all our questions. Sanders was the most expensive of the estimates, because the scope of work they proposed to do was larger than the other companies (there were issues with our current ducting due to a remodel by a prior owner), but we still went with them because of their thoroughness.When it came time to do the work the team lead by John did a great job, and the finished product looks great and is working well. We were at work most of the time the work was being done, so we didn't have a lot of interactions with the team doing the work, but all the interactions we did have were positive and we'd be happy to have them working in our house again should the need arise.The job was just done a few weeks ago, so we haven't yet had the inspections, and haven't had long enough with it yet to see how it works in all seasons and how it affects energy usage (we went from a traditional system to a hybrid heat pump/furnace). I'll update this review once that's all done.“
