Kennedy did my first facial at Taft Aesthetics on Monday. I must say that this young lady is top tier with facials! She made sure that I was comfortable throughout my facial and talked to me throughout the process to let me know what she was doing. My face hasn’t felt this good in years and she’s such a sweetheart! Very knowledgeable at what she does and pleasant! I will only get facials from Kennedy at Taft from now on. I love the haircut I get but my only concern is I never see the stylist santize the clippers or scissors there’s nothing on there work station that say santitizer or barbcicide like that have in other salons or barbershops I been to. This need to be addressed due to all customers coming in and stylist using same clipper guides same scissors same brush or combs this is unsanitary

This place is amazing!! I have been getting my nails done by Annie for years, and I drive all the way from Rocky Mount. She always takes her time when doing my nails and she never disappoints. She makes sure to suggest things that are best for her clients. Whatever I ask she knows how to do. Tony takes care by taking his time polishing your nails. I never feel rushed. Annie is the only tech there who does nails, and she stresses quality over quantity so you must book an appointment, and I completely agree. She will not disappoint. Booking an appointment helps lower your wait time and assures that you are helped within your time and Annie is devoted to doing your nails. Annie, Tony, and the staff there has a loyal customer in me! Highly recommended!! Very professional!! Clean and sanitary!!
Modern Nails is THE best salon I’ve ever enjoyed this much. Jean (and hubby are owners) did such a painstakingly thorough job that I just couldn’t believe there was an artist who was both professionally knowledgeable AND great at customer service! She would do a step, put me under the UV light for curing, repeat and repeat! She took her time. Very friendly… I learned a lot, and not just about nails!!! She put on gel color after the manicure. I loved it so much that I also got the most delightful pedicure, with calluses removed an all! (Yes, I have been for pedicures at inferior salons, and could not really tell a difference.) All of this for a very affordable price. And I did purchase lotion (a bit pricey but well worth it!) for my feet and anywhere else! They take reservations which is a great thing because I did not have time to wait! One more thing. The massaging chair really helped my back while Jean helped my feet and legs! Highly recommend!

I always make an appointment. However there have been times where I show up and someone has taken my place for the same services I need. When making an appointment they NEVER take your name. Even when you give it to them. I would suggest they take your name and number when making an appointment. John has always done a great job regardless of the mishaps.

Both Jack & Jill sinks were clogged in my guest bathroom. I contacted Braxton Britt & they came the next day at my request. I was very satisfied with Shane & Su. They were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, & most of all caring! Shane & Su had both sinks unclogged in no time. By the way, the price was very reasonable. I could hardly believe it. One plumbing business wanted to charge $1,400! Smh In conclusion, I highly recommend Braxton Britt for your plumbing needs. I know I will be contacting them again in the future for my plumbing needs!
We found out we had a water leak near the road on a Thursday about 2 weeks ago. The city came out and said it’s on our side to fix. We called around nobody could come that week. Friday morning he called Waltson, they were here around 9. And job fixed in an hour. I love their speediness and accuracy to fix issue and not over price us or string us along.

I had a very difficult irrigation/turf problem that no one else could figure out, and Kevin Hart, owner of Pristine Turf, was the one who solved it. What really stood out first was his responsiveness. Out of the three companies I contacted, he was the first to respond, and he did so within an hour.
Kevin has a master’s in soil science, a BS in advanced turfgrass management, and 20 years of experience as a golf course superintendent, and it absolutely shows in his work. I didn’t have any schematics for the system, which made the issue even harder to diagnose, but Kevin came out on a Sunday, worked all day, and stayed with it until he found the problem. He identified it and had it fixed on the second day.
His knowledge, persistence, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond were impressive. If you want someone with real expertise who is responsive and committed to solving the problem the right way, I highly recommend Kevin Hart and Pristine Turf.

Leo, Jr and his team did a fantastic job. They are licensed and insured which was important to me. Dino (the tree climber) was amazing! The job was to remove 6 trees, grind stumps, remove debris and level the ground where they were removed. I highly recommend. They finished the job in one day! Great price.
