David and his incredible team cared for my beloved mother in December 2022, and when the unimaginable happened again, they walked beside my family as we laid my husband, Oral Morgan, to rest in 2026. “I have never had to plan a celebration of life before and McEwen was very helpful during the process. The price was very affordable and the room was lovely. They provided assistance as far as helping guide people to the right location once they arrived which I really appreciated. They also provided the easel so that we could display our friend's picture and we were able to hook up a laptop to their TV screen so we could have a slideshow going the entire time. The staff was very kind and compassionate and were more than willing to help with anything we needed. The facility at Sharon Memorial Park is new and the grounds were lovely. While I wouldn't wish having to plan a celebration of life or a memorial service on anyone, I would definitely recommend McEwen for those needs.“

In the end, well over 100 people—around 120 to 130—came to celebrate my grandmother’s life. Somehow, Steve and his team made it all work seamlessly.

I’ll never forget standing behind Steve’s podium, preaching my grandmother’s funeral, looking out over a room full of people who loved her deeply. It was one of the most beautiful celebrations of life any of us had ever experienced, and it simply would not have been possible without Steve and his incredible team.
