No parent should have to bury their child. So when my beloved Emily passed in 2015, a dear friend highly recommended Forest Lawn East because her Mom and little sister were buried there. It's a beautiful unique, Cemetery, with rolling hills and trees. Emily is in St Matthew's Garden (the Catholic Section) where you can plant a garden around the upright headstone. It makes me feel like I can still do something for her.

Cat Denels is amazing. We lost both of our parents within a few months of each other, so we had a lot going on in a short period of time. Cat was there each time (both for the planning and for the actual interment ceremonies), helping us stay focused and clear headed, while offering kindness and even some humor when appropriate.
