“My recent experience with the Bennett Funeral Service was outstanding. It all started when I noticed my wife showing signs of Alzheimer’s. On our many trip’s up route 16 we notice a new building being constructed. After time I realized that it was Bennet’s Funeral Service. As time went on my wife’s diagnosis got worse and I needed a plan for the future. I had placed my wife in Abernethy Laurels, Newton NC a wonderful caring facility. I decided to stop and pay Bennett’s a visit just to see what it was all about and it turned out it was a great decision. When I walked in, it was a welcoming environment. I met the receptions and told her what I was interested in. She contacted one of the directors for me. I met with him told him my situation. We talked about what I had in mind, he made several suggestions and what the whole process would be like and what had to be taken care of. I left the facility with the information they had given me. I took the information we talked about made my decision to use their services when the time came. I gathered all the information I needed, made a second appointment to finalize the arrangements for the cremation. That was about two years ago. About 4 weeks ago my wife passed, I notified Bennetts, we had a family service at Abernethy and Bennetts took care of everything. The whole process couldn’t have gone any better.“
