My beautiful 3 year old daughter passed away from chronic kidney disease in December of 2016. We had known the end was coming, so we had quietly discussed our wishes for end of life and postmortem care, but had not made any finite plans before the time came. That night, hospice gave us a list of local funeral homes and we chose Lowe-Neddo. We were allowed to drive my sweet girl to the funeral home in our personal vehicle in the middle of the night, with an escort from hospice. I met Michael Neddo today when we were doing a community memorial for a person that lived in Matthews. Mike was handling this person’s funeral arrangements. I have to say how nice it was that Mike showed up to our memorial. He brought a guest book and stand for the community to sign and stayed around talking with everyone.
What an impression he made on me with his kind gesture of taking time out of his day to stop by.
