“I started seeing Dr. Hampe this month after vetting reviews of this clinic before the holidays and I am so very impressed. It’s a breathe of fresh air having a practitioner actually listen to your concerns and not just shuffle you around, spend ample amount of time with you during a visit, and give you clarity about the next steps in managing your health goals. This year I decided to forego traditional insurance policies since they don’t cover much anyways. I’m pay out of pocket and I have a catastrophic plan for emergencies. As a cash payer, Now I don’t have to wait for insurance to approve labs, exams, procedures and so far it has been cheaper and more cost effective than the traditional route.
These ladies working here have been nothing but authentic and kind to me through the whole process. They have done everything they said they would do. Administration work is spot on. I can contact my doctor anytime with an app. I feel cared for. I feel seen. Don’t hesitate to try this kind of patient care out….its absolutely refreshing and eye opening :)“

“From a simple intake conversation with Dr Sharp he had me get a few simple blood tests. The tests determined what my body was missing because of a fairly common anomaly. Two vitamins and my depression, anxiety WNL and the suicidal ideation is gone!!Now i need to do some talk therapy and im very happy with that also. So happy with Lorre and Dr. Sharp. “

“So far, we're very impressed with UNC Orthopedic. Latoya at the front desk, is both compassionate and competent, a rare mix in today's health care environment. She took on a task that wasn't hers and when she couldn't reach who she needed, she went looking for them. She's a treasure! The clinic manager was also very kind and helpful and Dr Kamath is both personable and thorough. He has a reputation for being a highly skilled surgeon. By the time we saw him, 3 days after an ER visit, he'd already tracked down the manufacturer of the artificial joint that broke, reached out to the rep, and presented a thorough plan that included multiple contingencies. We are grateful to be in their care and look forward to a successful surgery and getting my mom back to life with two working shoulders!“

“I have now been coming up to this clinic for 4 years I've had the same Doctor Liza Straub I am truly truly blessed to have her as my primary care she treats me like family the whole clinic is amazing and has been for me day one 4 years later my doctor helped me through a time in my life that was super hard losing my husband and she was she's always just so supportive so down to Earth she treats patients as if she were their mother at least for me I know she truly cares and not to mention she is absolutely amazing at her job me her and I have a super great patient doctor relationship everyone should have someone like her in their life we'd have such a great world I'm just so grateful she needs a metal she needs a ? a raise and a cake that says awesomeness because that's exactly what she is we love you.Dr Straub“

“Went there July 11th for a seizure stayed five weeks in the ICU love them nurses then got moved to the 4th floor they were nice just recently left there after surgery spent a day in the ICU and then was moved to the first floor overall great place and I'mma miss them nurses one of them willingly sat down with me after I was crying because the surgeons took a drain out of my head with no medicine or numbing cream I like this place.“

“Angels on earth!!! I am a infusion patient here and have been getting infusions for over a year, today didn't go as smoothly as others. I was hooked up to the machine meds were started and I was feeling great, all of a sudden it hit me. I was on ? and I couldn't stop coughing. My nurse asked if I was okay and I politely said yes (I had been sick) but once she leaves my chest and throat start to tighten and I felt dizzy, again I'm coughing like crazy trying to clear my throat so I can breath. Before I had time to send someone for my nurse she was rushing back in there asking all kinds of questions as I started to cry, saying I can't breathe! I was burning up gasping for air and these nurses in this center took action! Before I knew it I was surrounded by nurses, and they were calling allergic reaction over the intercom, one was charting, the other was rushing for epi, the others were paging the Dr, grabbing oxygen, stopping meds, getting benadryl.... you name it these women and man were all over the situation. I'm a high anxiety patient so it took some convincing but I finally let them give me Epi. While a nice older Dr there that was so kind he held my hand through it. These nurses were trained and worked together as one unit, no lack of communication just compassion and good training executed here. Unc chapel hill and all it's affiliated offices have had my vote for years but I just wanted to share incase someone else out there needs the boost to put your life in their hands. Love this place!!!!!! Thank you to the infusion center nurses your dedication and love is honorary!“
