About Unorthodoc

Unorthodoc is a unique healthcare provider that has been offering remote visits since 2015. During the pandemic, they have adapted their practices to ensure the safety of their patients, only allowing one person/family at a time and decontaminating surfaces between visits. They meet patients in the parking lot and escort them in, so they don't have to touch door handles. Unorthodoc has also removed toys, books, and magazines from the office and installed a portable sink in the exam room for patients to see the staff wash their hands before and after exams. Patients praise Unorthodoc for its personalized and attentive care. The practice is not beholden to corporations or insurance networks, allowing the doctors to focus on the individual's overall health, both physical and psychological. Patients feel like they are visiting a family doctor from decades ago, where the focus is on the person rather than data and income. Unorthodoc has earned the trust and loyalty of its patients, with one family even saying they've been going strong with the practice for the past 7 years after moving from Europe.

I started seeing Dr. Hampe this month after vetting reviews of this clinic before the holidays and I am so very impressed. It’s a breathe of fresh air having a practitioner actually listen to your concerns and not just shuffle you around, spend ample amount of time with you during a visit, and give you clarity about the next steps in managing your health goals. This year I decided to forego traditional insurance policies since they don’t cover much anyways. I’m pay out of pocket and I have a catastrophic plan for emergencies. Dr Annis and the whole Unorthodoc Team has been amazing to work with. Dr Annis told me about her idea to start a DPC many years ago. She wanted to be a Doctor and the insurance constraints didn’t allow that. I’ve been 100% sold on this style of offering since. We hire people to be experts in the craft they embrace, so why not hire a doctor to be a doctor. The value of Unorthodoc is priceless and your Internet payment for WebMD is more per year than their professional opinions. Just think about that…

I've been a member of this practice since the beginning and so highly recommend it for the doctors and the model of care. I know I'm actively contributing to the betterment of US Healthcare by not participating in the sick insurance-based system.
