UNC Eastowne Medical Office Building is a modern building with a pharmacy and a cafe on the first floor. Valet parking is available and a parking deck makes it easy to find a spot. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Check‑in is simple, like at a hotel, and a guard greets visitors with a smile. The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Inside, the waiting area is clean and nice. A specialist is thorough and knowledgeable, making patients feel valued. Lab is done in the office, so a newborn in a stroller can stay close. A violinist plays at the entrance, adding a pleasant atmosphere. The elevator sometimes has problems, but overall the experience is positive. The location is better than the last and the staff are helpful.
Best place to go for health care hands down. They have valet parking safe, reliable, best place to get good healthcare. The staff and doctors are very friendly helpful,caring people. Who really cares about their patients overall health mind and bodies.
I had an appointment for an Endocrinologist at this location and the office was going to add $300 for a facility fee because this office is located in an hospital and my insurance wasn't going to pay that fee. The referral specialist did not mention this and I quickly canceled.
Many of my specialists are in this convenient UNC office on the Chapel Hill edge of Fordham Blvd. (Very close to the I-40 intersection). The building has a parking garage, valet parking, and benches in front of a well-run patient drop-off area. The building is clean, modern, and the bottom floor boasts a pharmacy & small “cafe” area, which are both well-stocked. (The cafe is only open until 2:30 each day). The check-in process is never congested & each specialist I have seen here has been top notch.
