They have helped me work through, and around injuries. I just wish they had a stages spin bike (@Chico :))“

605 Locust St, St. Louis“The gym is pretty nice although they don't have a basketball court and you have to pay for parking. The men's locker room is not very clean.“
7AM - 1PM
13450 Clayton Rd, St. Louis“I have been going there 2 days a week for the last year. The coaches are all very knowledgeable , encouraging and interested in helping me with my goals of improving strength and balance. I enjoy and look forward to each session.“
7AM - 7PM
7315 Watson Rd, St. Louis“The Edge is a great club. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is kept clean, the equipment is well maintained, and there is a lot to choose from. I wish they wouldn’t keep the facility’s temperature set so low; it’s difficult to get a good sweat going some days. My other wish is for longer hours of operation. To close at 7pm on weekends is not being accessible to members who can’t make it there during the day. I get that being a 24-hour club is perhaps not feasible. But it needs to stay open until midnight.“

3809 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis“Erica is an outstanding therapist and class instructor. She is so observant, always making sure I’m doing each exercise properly and getting the most from each exercise. She makes exercising fun. I’ve participated in many group classes but nothing compares to the routine at Housefit.
I also want to commend Tia. She helped me with a shoulder problem. I take her balance class. She is so attentive and always explains every exercise again and again. She never tires of helping everyone get the most from her class.
I cannot say enough good things about these two therapists.“
7AM - 3PM
10042 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“I started going to St. Louis Strength because I don't just want to combat the loss of muscle that comes with age, I want to build it. I’m almost 3 months in and i definitely feel stronger. I realized I don’t push myself enough when lifting weights on my own. It’s been a surprise to me how effective Nathan’s work outs are in such a short time. You don’t have to figure out how much to lift or what to do next. He does it all for you so that it’s tailored to push you but not kill you, unless it’s the ropes. Those kill you. (Right, Nathan? Haha. JK.) Added bonus: Nathan’s a professional who’s just a really likable, nice guy and good human.“
9AM - 2PM
12878 Manchester Rd, St. Louis“Marc and team are some of the most knowledgeable personal trainers in the area. The walls are covered with testaments to PowerPlay’s successes in cultivating professional athletes, but they’re equally committed to helping average joes just looking to get into better shape. From old ladies to kids just at the beginning of their fitness journeys and everywhere in between, powerplay seems to provide the sort of welcoming, friendly, fun environment that can be rare in the world of personal training while still managing to push their clients to places they couldn’t get to on their own. At least that’s what they did for me.“
“Marlo and Andrew are amazing on a personal and professional level. As a formerly Saint Louis based personal trainer, there are 3 trainers in the entire city I'd actively recommend to friends, family, and former clients. Two of those three people are in this gym. Incredibly high attention to detail and really puts the "personal" in personal training!“
7AM - 7PM
4061 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis“This place is located on North side of Lindell. Lots of parking in front. A lot of the previous reviews talk about how rude and bad the staff is. I did not have that experience, the guy at the front desk was very helpful. I was visiting WashU so he helped me sign up for a free trial. They also have free lifting for high school students with IDs over the summer. These are all positives. The bathrooms are clean. One downside is they do not have squat racks. Everything is based on the Smith machines (see photo). Of which there are 5. Maybe this is a characteristic of Planet Fitness but not sure. They do have plenty of dumbbells. It wasn't crowded so there was no competition for machines or weights. I definitely go against the bad staff perception here“
“Tom has helped me a few times over the years. His expertise is unmatched. He helped me get through an injury in preparation for an elite military program and helped me fix my back years later after I hurt it lifting my kids around.“
8:30 - 11AM
5261 Delmar Blvd Suite 207, St. Louis“I've been working out with DeNay since 2018 and couldn't be more pleased with my results. Amazing inspiration, motivation, and compassion is what you'll find with DeNay. I wouldn't be where I am today without her help. I'm down 30 pounds and feel stronger than ever before. She has so much knowledge to share from movement to diet and she's going to keep it real with you, so if you're ready to make the changes necessary to live a healthier lifestyle, come meet DeNay, I promise you'll find everything you've been looking for in a trainer!“
“I have been going to Bodywise 1-on 1 over the years. I highly recommend. Skip is the owner and one of the trainers. He offers a highly personalized plan fitted towards your goals and body type. He provides a comprehensive outline to achieve your goals. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of fitness. He understands how hard it is to loose weight and provides great advise and motivation. There are various personal training packages to choose from. I also participate in spinn classes to get my cardio in. I love the flexibility of the personal training sessions because my work hours change. Personal training sessions are available Monday through Saturday as early as 5am. They offer spinn classes on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm. The classes are no joke, you will definitely achieve a great cardio workout with laughs and more within that hour.“

“A year ago, over 50, I decided to try CrossFit Happy Streets. Best. Decision. Ever. I am in the best shape of my life; nutrition is dialed in; I have built amazing friendships, and I am doing things I never thought possible for myself (weighted pull-ups this week)! The coaching is stellar -- lots of attention to good form. Everyone in the gym is welcoming and encouraging. Whether you are dropping in for a day or looking for a place to build long-term fitness, Happy Streets is going to feel like home.“
