“SO HAPPY! We had to redo our basement because of a mold issue and hired The Concrete Guy to put in polished, stained concrete. It’s BEAUTIFUL! I never thought I would be so excited about flooring. We chose polished concrete because it’s low toxic and very durable. I want this in my entire house! Caleb, who did most of the work, was absolutely amazing. Matt was very easy to communicate with. “When I bought a small home (cottage, built in 1920), it needed a lot of work. I started with paint. I decided to be totally open to suggestions even though I had my own ideas. Leslie was extremely helpful by actually listening to me and my thoughts and ideas. She began to challenge me with some other ideas, as she shared her knowledge of color. She suggested a color that I never would have even thought of! She was looking at the floor color (that I didn't love, but wasn't planning to change) and how we could compliment the floor color by using a specific color for the walls. I decided to try a sample to see if I could really understand what she was saying. I couldn't believe that I loved it! And, it helped me to actually like the floor color. Needless to say, I went with her choice and couldn't be happier! Leslie's knowledge, listening skills, and desire for me to LOVE the outcome was so evident when I worked with her. She shared in my excitement and made the process actually fun! And, everytime I went into the store, the other staff were happy to see me and excited to hear how my project was going.
