“We had some hail damage last year and after some research and comparing other roofing companies, we decided Tacheny had the best track record with our insurance (state farm) and therefore had the best chance for a successful claim. Nate did the initial inspection and was my main point of contact throughout the process. His first inspection was detailed and thorough. He was able to find not only damage on the roof, but the gutters and regretfully our new window wraps. He was upfront with us from the beginning and said we had a good chance of getting a claim pushed through, but he couldn’t guarantee it. After a lot of back and forth with insurance and a re-inspection from another adjuster we finally got the roof claim approved along with gutters and wraps.

At this point it was a combination of working with Nate and his team to schedule the work to be done. As soon as the weather was warm enough, his crew came out and replaced the entire roof in 1 day! They came by the next morning to finish the garage and then the gutters and window wraps were done soon after that. One of the best things I liked about Tacheny is that they stand by their work. Nate and various guys came back out to address and fix little issues as they popped up throughout the process and they did multiple inspections/walkthroughs. Not only that, but they come back out in a year to make sure everything is working as it should.

One note, if you are located in a hail damage area, in my opinion… It's worth upgrading to class 4 shingles, you can save on your insurance premium and the extra cost gave us peace of mind that our roof could withstand some brutal hailstorms. Case in point, a few weeks after the installation was complete we had another hail storm and our roof was fine and Tacheny even came out to inspect to make sure.
