“I've always been so proud of my landscaping, but 2023 was a tough year on my yard. My focal tree in the front yard died, and both the back and front yards were a mess of trenches and overgrown weeds after projects completed by other contractors. After 20 years, it was time for a complete makeover and Collin and Suburban Landscaping delivered! I had a plan drawn up by a designer, and after a brief meeting with Collin, he ordered all of the material, made some EXCELLENT suggestions for boulder changes that complemented our home exterior, and in only two days, our entire landscape was transformed. I literally had a lump in my throat after seeing the change. MIGHT have wiped a tear from my eye, even. The workmanship was exceptional-and I mean buckthorn taken out at the root, large boulders relocated and plants/shrubbery carefully installed. Not only is Collin responsive and knowledgeable, his employees were so kind and definitely share his customer service mentality.Out of habit, I'd used the same person to maintain my landscape the last ten years. I realize now, I was being overcharged and underserved. Switching to Suburban Landscaping was a smart move financially and for the health of my yard.“

We asked them to replace a deteriorating concrete block wall (which we never liked) with a wall of large natural boulders and, if they could, preserve some mature evergreens in the process, and they exceeded expectations. The outcome is beautiful and timeless.“

Gonzo Bros management and work team were very responsive to questions and requested changes to initial plan. The Sod Smith team tilled the ground, got rid of all the weeds, added the grub controller and fertilizer, then installed the new sods.

“I must have reached out to 8+ landscaping companies, and while I could get some of them to come out to take measurements, few of them followed up with estimates and when they did, some of them quoted me THOUSANDS of dollars. Brian was able to offer us straightforward and practical solutions to fix the negative grading on the back and side of the house, fix an existing window well and install another window well. He was also able to work with our tight budget and even helped us to lift our AC Unit that was being impacted by the negative grading. He was so knowledgeable and transparent about what his recommendations were and why.
We did not need anything overly complicated so we were so glad we were finally able to connect with Brian. He even came in under-budget (unheard of in my experience in working with contractors). “I want to share a wonderful experience I had at Friedges Landscaping in Lakeville. I stopped in to pick up some small decorative boulders. Obviously the woman at the front desk knew this was not going to be a large dollar sale but she treated me like I was the most important person in the building. She was friendly, attentive, told me where the pile of boulders were and explained how I would pay for them, once I was ready to checkout. Once I got to the, ample, pile of boulders, I started to load the back of my Jeep. I was not there 5 minutes and a gentleman pulled up on a Bobcat and asked if I needed help loading or would like him to move the boulders around so I could get a more thorough view of the pile. Again, he was extremely friendly, engaging and quick to lend a helping hand. I said no thanks and he told me to holler if I needed anything.
