The staff really seems to be on their game. I would give five stars except for the fact that I can't figure out how to politely ask people to get off the machines because they're sitting there on their phones!“

“This might not be as much as a review as it will be an inevitable chapter in my memoir about how I completely obliterated my expectations about having a personal trainer.
In the past, I tried out personal trainers once or twice before and wasn't really impressed by what they offered, their methodology, or we just didn't click. Fast forward to late September 2024 and I had been WFH for years at this point. Finding the motivation to be active and working out after 10-hour days was a big ask. I didn't so much want a personal trainer as much as I NEEDED one. Lucky for me, REVfit was in my neighborhood, and I was admittedly REV-curious for a couple of years, driving past the gym regularly during this time, before I finally decided to bite the bullet and take up the offer for the free consultation session with Autrey.
I went in not really knowing what to expect of Autrey, or honestly even myself. The initial consult felt like most first sessions with a trainer: gauging where you're at and asking about where you want to be. The most important thing in any client-trainer relationship (and really, any relationship) is clear, concise, and honest communication. Autrey was nothing but genuine, and when the time came to decide whether we were a good fit, it was pretty clear from the jump that I had found my fitness home.
Fitness Kismet. Fit-met. Whatever. You get what I mean.
As a trainer, Autrey is tough but fair. He encourages you to dig deep, to do the hard things you think you can't do (or like me, complaining the whole time). But he also knows when to back off and recalibrate, so you avoid injury, but still are making progress toward your goals.
Honestly, he's the best accountabili-buddy I've ever had, and I always look forward to our sessions. If you're looking for someone who wants to help you meet your goals, be your toughest trainer as well as your biggest cheerleader?

The main reformer studio is set up more intimately than other Pilates studios I'd tried, offering smaller class sizes. They gave is a taste of all the different workouts we'd get, muscles we'd work, at a nice intro pace. Staff was very friendly. Clean waiting areas and cubbies with locks. They now will be offering medical massage as well! Definitely signing up to add this into my workout routine.“
