27889 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills“One of my go-to yoga studios! Thrive has locations in both Troy and Farmington Hills and offers tons of times and different class types. Even with a busy schedule, I feel like I can still squeeze in at least one class every week! I've attended classes with a few different instructors and have always found them to be very welcoming and friendly. Weekend classes can tend to be full, but there is typically plenty of space to spread out during the week. I also really appreciate that the instructors are always very respectful of each individuals' limitations and offers alternatives for more challenging poses. The heat and humidity can definitely be overwhelming if this is your first time trying hot yoga. However, this is one of my favorite features of this location and a reason I keep coming back! It's important to go at your own pace, take breaks if necessary, and bring PLENTY of water if you're new to this type of practice! FYI: this location also offers showers!“

I started my journey unsure of what was to come. She has guided me through both mental and physical discoveries that have changed the way I navigate life. The philosophy of healing both the mind AND the body is something I didn’t know I was missing. Wading through the discomfort and coming out the other side is worth the hard work. “The best yoga studio around! I loved my time of zen and relaxation at Empower Yoga. Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. During my Slow Burn class with Julie, I was at peace and in tranquility. I loved how Julie explained the flows and poses we were in. Julie is a fabulous teacher and I absolutely loved the hot temperatures in the studio, perfect for the cold winters in Michigan. Can’t wait to go back!“
