I originally had my lip pierced at another shop in Ludington and was having issues with it healing. It seemed like it might be infected, and honestly I didn’t have the best experience at that shop. After searching around, Google led me to a shop in Manistee, and I’m really glad it did.
The first time I stopped in, it was close to closing time, but Kelly greeted me at the door with a big smile and asked how she could help. I explained that I’d gotten my lip pierced somewhere else and that it didn’t seem to be healing properly. She took the time to look at it and agreed that it didn’t appear to be healing the way it should. Instead of rushing anything, she recommended waiting at least another week so it could heal a bit more before trying to swap the jewelry out, just to avoid any issues.
I left, waited a couple of weeks, and came back when it still wasn’t healing right. Again, she greeted me with that same welcoming smile and even remembered me when I walked in. She asked how my lip had been doing and had me come sit in her chair so she could take another look.
You can tell immediately that Kelly truly loves what she does and is passionate about her work. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to help me, swapped out the jewelry, went over aftercare with me again, and even gave me a care package to help with healing—even though she wasn’t the one who originally did the piercing.
She treated me like I had been her client from the beginning and really went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a piercing. And if you’re getting a piercing, I highly recommend Kelly!!!
Got ahead of myself in a two tracks (sand pit in the road), Van's was fast, responsive, and knew where to go being slightly off the beaten path. Billing was affordable and fair, and service was stellar. Can't recommend enough if you are in the Manistee area.

I had two massages with Alissa about a month apart while spending my summer in Michigan, and both were absolutely exceptional.
From the moment you arrive, the experience feels calming. Alissa has such a warm, welcoming presence that immediately puts you at ease. Her studio, tucked inside a beautiful Victorian home, is thoughtfully designed and creates the perfect atmosphere to relax.
What impressed me most was her knowledge and attention to detail. It was clear that she has a deep understanding of the body, but even more than that, you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She listened carefully, tailored each session to what my body needed, and the results were incredible.
If you’re looking for someone who combines skill, professionalism, and a truly calming presence, I can’t recommend Alissa enough. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in Manistee.

I had my first massage with Gwen this week and I cannot wait to go back. She’s super friendly, responsive and makes you feel comfortable. Her new space is cozy and she makes sure she caters your needs and asked throughout if you are comfortable or need anything. My husband is also weary of getting massages and had his first one with Gwen before the holidays and she really helped him with some major pain in his muscles. Lucky me, I was gifted gift cards for her for Xmas, as he enjoyed his massage and knew I would too. I cannot wait to go back!
Got Your Six was awesome to work with. They returned my call right away, checked my furnace and replaced it timely. They were great to work with. I really appreciate them and the work they did.
Due to Covid-19 masks are required in the salon. It is one-on-one in the salon due to social distancing and sanitation purposes. So if your ride drops you off, make sure they come back early enough to get you so you don't have to wait outside. Because space and time is limited, please understand your hairstylist takes your health and their health as a concern and are trying to give you the safest experience possible. If you have asthma or other breathing issues, please make your stylist aware and they can accommodate to your needs.
I had an amazing experience here thanks to Lucy :) No only did my hair turn out AMAZING (cut color and style) but I had a great time talking with the girls in there and as an introvert, that's saying something! I can't wait to go back!
We would just like to thank Mac & his team for cleaning our solar panels & then after asking about fitting of the pigeon netting round them was back 2 days later to fit it. Julia is amazing and she truly cares for her clients. I've seen her a dozen times over the years and each time it has been a great massage. She does a hot towel on the back and a little scalp massage with the best scalp massage took I've ever experienced. You will love her!

I purchased a cabin in Michigan and met Andrew late one night when coming up from my home in Kentucky. I monitored the weather all week, but failed to realize it had snowed a couple of feet the week before. When arriving I realized I couldn't get in to my driveway. To make matters worse I had a couch being delivered the next morning. I setup my starlink and found a number for Andrew and texted him at 10:30 at night. I explained the unique situation and after convincing him it wasn't a joke, he looked to get his plow guy over to my house for a late night plow job. In a desperate situation Andrew came to the rescue.
The next thing to happen (go wrong) is that the pipes in my pump room were leaking severely. Back to Andrew. Informing him that a significant amount of water was leaking into my basement, he moved his schedule and made an emergency call. Due to the poor installation of my pumproom pipes, he made an emergency repair so the water would stop leaking, and then came back a couple of weeks later (the next time I was in town) to do a more permanent repair.
On to the dangerous trees....I had several large trees leaning over my cabin as well as several less critical trees that needed to be cleared so that my starlink was more reliable. He worked out a good deal for the trees he could remove, while contracting out a bonded tree service with a bucket truck to remove the more dangerous trees. All performed in a reasonable time, and also worked with me to keep some of the wood for my stove while removing the trees and debris I didn't want or couldn't use.
Next was sealing up the attic. So many bats in the attic. He spent the day sealing up cracks in between the logs and the roof to help mitigate the bats getting in, then built a cover for an unused chimney and sealed it up.
All in all, I have used Andrew several times over the first year with the cabin. When it was an emergency, he was Johnny on the spot too. All at a fair price.
He's going to repair a rotting deck that will require holding up the roof while he repairs some of the structure next. I'll provide another review once that's been completed.

Just finished a yoga level 1 Saturday morning class with Diana. It was a great class. It had a very good, up to date flow you could find anywhere in a large metropolitan area; her instructions were clear continuously offering alternatives to poses, so everybody could participate to their abilities. I felt challenged enough to break a sweat which felt good. Liked her continuous in- and exhale announcements which helps to get into a calmer, quieter state of focus and moving meditation. Left very satisfied, rejuvenated and ready for the rest of the weekend. Come and try a level 1 yoga class for yourself. Props and mats are there if you need them. You won't regret it!

Honestly my only issue was he didn’t blow my fingers off very well or clean up around the nail/ cuticle. Caused a few bubbles on several nails. I was always told to avoid the male. He did fine, just seemed to rush and not take his time. No doubt in my mind he could do better.
My daughter and I had the best experience here! We both received amazing pedis in their pedicure area! The owners were so kind, and when we asked about Manistee, they helped us choose places to visit! 10/10 Additional, the nail files and everything was new! I appreciate that so much!
