We hired Plisga & Day to survey our land to help us figure out where are boundary lines were to our new home. And our experience has been nothing short of excellent! We've had the pleasure of working with Clark Staples. He is a very understanding surveyor who has a keen ear, wants to really understand our issues, and make suggestions to help us along the way. Clark has been very honest with us through this entire process. Letting us know ahead of time approximately when our survey would be started. And he takes his job very seriously. We would definitely not think twice about using Plisga & Day again if the need arises. I would highly recommend them.

Pleasant on the telephone. Awaiting installation, like everyone else they have staffing problems. More expensive than we budgeted for, but we did get a couple of optional items.Update; The installer, Jamie, was great to work with, he deserves 5 stars. He must have put in a fourteen hour day but got it done and done well.Only complaint, the bill wasn’t itemized, can’t see what anything costs.

Got my hair done today. It was amazing. It's so shiny. It felt like massage ? which i Been needing. I got blonde highlights. Only 90 dollars for the dye it self and a trim and a style. I recommend it! Definitely coming again.
The ladies at Lotus did an amazing job on my wedding day hair and makeup, as well as 4 bridesmaids hair and makeup. They did a great job making it look great in the short amount of time we had to get ready. It was gorgeous and stayed in tact all day!
This was my first visit to this salon. Everything was neat and clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I saw Mathew for a cut and color appointment. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding my unruly curly and straightened hair. I had several inches cut off my hair into a fun bob and colored a deep brunette that covered the few grays that have started showing up. We ended with a blowout that took my thin, frizzy, mixed curly hair to an extremely shiny and smooth straight bob that I absolutely loved. Super impressed with my visit and have already booked my next appointment.

UPDATE: I called in to ask to get it fixed(fully intending to pay) and not only did they get me right in the next day, they did it for free, and compensated me for my next cut. I really appreciate them wanting to make this right. Andy did what she could and was honest with me about how we could fix it. I still don’t like it(I just don’t like having super short hair), but I’m much more satisfied than I was previously. I will be back for my usual cut when my hair grows out, eventually.
I usually get a great cut here, but today was not that day. I can’t remember the name of the woman who cut it, I’ve never seen her before. But I just got home and I could honestly cry. I asked for a low taper fade and to leave the bulk on my sides and back. What I ended up with is a straight up buzz all the way around my head except for the top. Months of growing my hair out for a new trendy cut ruined. Gotta go out and buy a new hat now.
Update: After this Jess did get back to me and offered to respray at no cost, and was very educational about what she thought had happened. Initially, she did not know about this interaction and was able to use it as a training example for an employee, while also neverI throwing her employee under the bus. She is kind, understanding, and incredibly intent on her clients satisfaction. Very much recommend.
I got a spray tan for the first time ever about a month ago and went here because of all the rave reviews. I unfortunately had a very dissimilar experience. I went in and had the tan and teeth whitening. The girl doing the spray was very nice. I went home and rinsed as she specified within the time specified with only water. I noticed some spots the next day and texted as she said to if I noticed anything. I was asked to send pics and once verified said to come by later and they'd fix it. I did, and they did, and I went home. Within the next day or so it went orange. Admittedly I think I grabbed my biolage shampoo as body wash(I keep them in travel containers for space saving), but otherwise had done just as she said. When I texted again to say I was orange I was questioned about how long I left the spray on, told I was only to rinse with water the first time (I did), and that likely it was the biolage and to scrub it off and start over. That was it. No offer to walk me through it (let her know I'd never had a spray tan before), no offer to discount the next session, no geez that sucks. It was a attempt to do something nice for myself while going through a really rough time and I feel I totally got mean girled. Just my 2 cents, but as a business owner maybe approach your customers with a bit more compassion and grace.
Definitely recommend going here, everyone that works there are the sweetest. Thank you Susan by doing my hair. Love it, definitely will be back. She was one point of what I was looking for

Easily one of the best mani/pedis I have ever gotten in my life! Kasi was such a lovely, kind person and I am so glad that they did my nails! They not only took their time making sure everything was perfect, but they also made sure I was comfortable, offered me water and made sure I knew what they were doing before they did it. Not once did I feel like she was rushing! We also had a lovely conversation the whole time. Like I said, just one of the best experiences ever! Thank you Kasi SO much for the fantastic nails and for being an awesome person! I wish I could give her a million stars!!!

I had such a great experience with Vanessa at Regal Nails in Bangor! This is hands down the best set of nails I’ve had done.
I was her last customer of the day, and despite it being closing time, she never rushed through a single step of my appointment. She took her time, paid attention to every detail, and even stayed well past closing to make sure everything was done right.
Vanessa was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. She made recommendations based on my nail bed rather than just doing a standard set, and she took the time to explain why one of my nails grows differently due to a damaged nail matrix. I really appreciated how she educated me throughout the process and customized the shape and design to what would look best on my hands.

I did a huge chop, from past my shoulders to a pixie. I showed her three pics from the last time I cut my hair and she recreated it perfectly. She's super easy to talk to and was super easygoing (even though I showed up 10 minutes late). I took a chance going to this salon and they didn't disappoint. Pretty affordable too and I was out of there in 30 minutes.

I hired Shaylee and Rosie after I had Shaylee at my sisters wedding. Both Shaylee and Rosie were beyond talented at hair and makeup and made everyone feel beautiful. After each person they made sure we loved every part and were very willing to tweak anything, unlike a lot of hair and makeup vendors. They showed up ready to have fun, bringing great energy and made us feel like we were best friends by the end of the day chatting with all of my bridesmaids. These are the girls you want to have with you on your wedding morning! Shaylee even did my two year old nieces hair into the cutest bun and was so good working with kids. I spoke with owner Chris about an emergency I had quite late in the day. I finally got the privilege to meet him on site early in the installation process. His attention to detail and high expectations of his own team are spectacular.

OMG! Her little hands were so strong! If you are looking for a serious deep tissue massage this is the place to go! They prefer you use cash. Very clean, very friendly, and they offer couples massages. Everyone I have met here is awesome. The only downfall is why are they are giving you a massage a lot of times they have to answer the phone in order to book another massage or they have to go answer the door because they're the only person there at the time. They don't seem to have a receptionist. So unfortunately your massage does get interrupted every so often. And she did not add the time back on that she was out of the room so I was a little bummed about that.

Susan is capable of healing that is kind of unfathomable and kind of magic. I’m also a massage therapist and to say she is skilled is a huge understatement. I had a massage here a while back for some neck stiffness and a sore back. She scheduled a half hour session to just address problem areas. Most of my discomfort cleared up in two days of the massage.
