Again, I received quick and transparent pricing, a professional evaluation, prompt service, and honest and thorough and experienced work. Eric and CJ came out within a day to swap out the old equipment. They worked fast, friendly, and very cleanly. Additionally, while they're were on site, I asked Eric to take a look at my plumbing setup—especially my 10+ year old water heater I'd been warily eyeing for replacement—and he showed me clear evidence of an ongoing leak and gave me a competitive quote with a 10% service coupon I didn't know about. There was no pressure and a lot of patience for all of my questions. (Also, if you're like me and you haven't replaced your backflow preventer in the past five years, it's time...) “Coming back to write a review a couple years later because I'm looking for contractors for a different issue and remembered how helpful these guys were for plumbing. We had a very slow-draining toilet backup, couldn't even shower in our house because the sewer line was so clogged up and it would start backing up into the downstairs toilet. We talked to two other plumbers, both said we needed a new sewer. Then we contacted C.A. Taciak and Sons and they let us know the issues with our pipes were typical for any old Baltimore home, and all we really needed was a high-pressure water jetting to clear them out. It has been over two years and no problems. And it was less than a fifth of what one of the other companies was going to charge us, and about a third of what the second company would have charged. Honest, friendly, highly recommend!“

“I sought bids from several plumbers to replace a leaking propane gas fired hot water heater either in-kind or with a tankless water heater. Whitehall gave me the best prices and we went the tankless route. This was a somewhat complicated and involved job with a lot of details to attend to. Working with Laura, the General Manager, on the proposal, contract, scheduling and payment was great - very professional. An experienced tech came out to plan the job. The two techs that did the job put in a long day and came back for a few hours the next day to finish some details. The completed job is very impressive. Functional, neat and professional looking with every detail attended to. They left the area as good as they found it. In my career I had the pleasure of working for many years with skilled crafts persons and technicians in an industrial environment, so I think I know good work when I see it.
