Coming back to write a review a couple years later because I'm looking for contractors for a different issue and remembered how helpful these guys were for plumbing. We had a very slow-draining toilet backup, couldn't even shower in our house because the sewer line was so clogged up and it would start backing up into the downstairs toilet. We talked to two other plumbers, both said we needed a new sewer. Then we contacted C.A. Taciak and Sons and they let us know the issues with our pipes were typical for any old Baltimore home, and all we really needed was a high-pressure water jetting to clear them out. It has been over two years and no problems. And it was less than a fifth of what one of the other companies was going to charge us, and about a third of what the second company would have charged. Honest, friendly, highly recommend!
Our main water line from the street to the house cracked. Frank and Sam were amazing! They did a great inspection and were totally upfront with the cost. They communicated with us through the whole repair process. I highly recommend them.
While Sam has not done work for me, he has visited my house and spoken to me over the phone on multiple occasions free of charge and given me honest and thoughtful advice. He clearly is an expert AND not interested in just seeking money. You can be confident that you are getting an optimal assessment for some potentially serious structural issues.
