“I recently had the pleasure of working with Shawn from Superior Damage Restoration to address a persistent water leak issue in a penthouse duplex unit. The problem was that water was seeping through from under the flooring and down the stairs whenever it rained. Previous contractors had incorrectly suggested that the issue was with the balcony door.Shawn and his team provided a comprehensive explanation of the root cause and took a thorough approach to resolve it. They removed the damaged flooring, waterproofed the balcony door, and even assisted with moving furniture around during the process. Despite their initial efforts, the issue persisted, but they didn't give up. Using thermal devices, they identified that the water was actually coming from the rooftop, down the wall frame studs, and into the floor.Once the true source was identified, they promptly waterproofed the rooftop, and after the next rain, I was relieved to see that no water came through. “Intrepid did our mold remediation as part of our house sale in a tight time frame. They are fantastic. Very professional, very personable and very thorough. They did a lot of high quality work for the money. We had Pennicilium mold in our basement - very common - that was identified in the inspection. We had 2 bids - Intrepid and another. The other only did treatment. For the same amount, Intrepid actually tore out and installed new drywall, treated and cleaned the whole unfinished adjacent walls and ceiling, and then repainted the finished new wall and trim plus the finished room and 2 doors (both sides). They saw more mold than originally scoped in the bid and they went ahead and treated all of the unfinished basement ceiling. Of all the vendors we had doing work on the house for our sale, Intrepid was the most professional, dependable, transparent with the highest quality work and value of any.... I would high recommend them for your remediation project.“
