“I adopted a teenage puppy who had lots of leash reactivity and lots of pulling. Denise was the 2nd trainer we worked with and since working with Denise, he's made huge progress! He would lunge and bark at everything from a cart to a recycle bin to a tall branch hanging over the fence. After determining the right tool that worked for me and him, and working through some of my own anxieties with him, I feel more confident walking him and he is much easier to handle. Me and him still have work to do, (practice makes perfect!) but I feel like I can breath when I take him out of my house and I no longer worry about the big feelings and reactivity that he had towards any and everything. Thanks to Denise, my teenage puppy might just make it to his humans sports events one day!“

Over the last year I have traveled frequently and knowing that "my girls" will be taken care of is a huge weight off of my shoulders. “We cannot speak highly enough of Keri and Unleashed Abilities. Over the last 15 years, we have been lucky enough to work with Keri with each of our three rescue dogs. Keri proved herself to be nothing short of a miracle worker when working with us and our first dog - a desert dog from the Middle East (who earned the name “Wild Dog” from his rescuers). To say he needed a lot of training would be an understatement, but after a few months with Keri, he settled into life with us and was the absolute best boy.We are currently working on training our newest rescue dog. Keri gives such great guidance that we saw a remarkable effect after just the first session. As we’ve continued to work together, his behavior and leash manners have improved immensely. Keri is wonderful at modeling how we can work with him and gives us clear “homework” to work on between sessions. She also has great rapport with dogs - he absolutely adores her and even our nervous older dog is instantly at ease with her. She is quick to respond if we have questions between sessions and we have always felt very supported. We highly recommend Keri and Unleashed Abilities!“

“We connected with Susie shortly after we adopted a Westie mix from the animal shelter. Our dog (Sophie) dealt with reactivity issues when we went outside for walks. Susie worked with us extensively to both improve Sophie's comfort level around other dogs and also how we could distract her through the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training.We greatly appreciated Susie's time and her willingness to ago above and beyond to help with with Sophie. She came to us for training, joined us in our nearby park (Meridian Hill Park), and even offered up her building front yard for long leash training. She provided necessary tools to help us and was all around a great trainer to work with. We can't recommend her highly enough.“

“I am so incredibly lucky to have found Brittany. I have a 2 year old golden retriever who absolutely adores her and her two pups Blue and Watson. Brittany works so hard to make sure Bailey is taken care of. She is always on top of our regularly scheduled walks and has watched Bailey overnight (Bailey comes home happy as can be). I love getting Bailey's daily walk reports where Brittany writes how the walk went, what type of "business" was done, and includes the most adorable pictures. I highly recommend Brittany, she is the best there is!“

“Amazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. I recommend Anyone taking their time to do research on a good groomer to definitely take you dogs here. I couldn’t have had a better experience.“
“I had a very dog-reactive Miniature Schnauzer and came to MS Lisa Daniel for help in overcoming his reactivity when seeing other dogs.She was essential in training ME and in dealing with specific situations related to my dogs reactive behavior. “This place is great! Just had both my cats nails trimmed and the staff were so kind and patient. The new space is much nicer and there’s lots of natural light. One of my cats is really difficult and Bridget did a great job keeping her calm and trimming her nails quickly. Got an appointment same day and very affordable!“

“Potomac animal hospital is quite pricey, but we love the level of care our dogs have received over the past years. We go here for grooming, preventative care, and medical care. The reception staff is very friendly, as are the vets themselves.“
“My review is very delayed, but I came in a week before Christmas for my cat. The kind woman at the front desk was very helpful. I also had Tokyo, Lauren, and Wiley (I hope I spelled their names right) who took care of my cat. They all had excellent customer service and I’m happy they enjoyed being around my cat. I’m surprised my cat was friendly to them and I’ll definitely recommend this spot to anyone!“

“I had a great experience here with Dr. Fontaine and the rest of the staff at Dupont Vet Clinic! I took my newly adopted shelter cat for a wellness appointment and vaccine. It was efficient, and Dr. Fontaine answered all my questions and gave me some great cat advice. I also was able to schedule the appointment just one day after calling. Everyone I interacted with at the clinic loves animals and is very kind. Look forward to coming here for years to come!“
