“Josh responded immediately to my last minute request for a mid morning weekday dog walker from Wed through the following Friday. Raymond came the next day. Raymond is a caring and gentle dog walker who genuinely likes dogs. He greeted our deaf senior guy every day and was great with our one-year old cav who took to him and readily left with Raymond who he had literally met 5 minutes earlier. The only note is that $25 for a 15 minute walk is more than almost all walkers on Rover who walk the dog minimally for 20 minutes charging from $14-$25. That said, Josh clearly has a well vetted team and i would call upon him again without hesitation.”

She took him on many field trips, helped him learn to accept crate training, and how to properly walk on a leash. We would’ve been lost without her and Scout absolutely adores her. They are great and take the time to not only drop in on my cats, but play with them and give them some much needed love while I am out of town. “We tried boarding our highly anxious cat for the first time while abroad so someone could give her the anti-anxiety pills every morning.<br><br>While our baby had a complete meltdown and became highly aggressive as soon as we left, the staff did everything they could to calm her and make her more comfortable. We were given updates on her status everyday and, at some points, were in even closer/more constant contact as we were concerned. At no point did they give up trying and when I came in early to pick her up, I could see just how much they cared for her and at no point did anyone blame her, they were so sympathetic to her anxiety kept reassuring me that she was not aggressive, she was just distressed, which is the exact mentality you would want from the people taking care of you pet for a weekend.<br><br>To the owners and staff, I just want to truly thank you all so much for the way you handled the situation and how you took such great care of our cat where many places would have given up with the behavior she was exhibiting.<br><br>For anyone looking to board their cat who can handle separation better, I highly recommend Capital Kitty.”

When my cat shows signs of stress, they never push; instead, they suggest coming back another day for bloodwork if needed, which makes visits much more comfortable for all of us. “Carmen is amazing. When we adopted our beagle she had terrible anxiety, and was afraid of people, nail clippers, blow dryers, running water, and even towels. Carmen was patient and kind, and Emily loves going to her for grooming. This is also the only place we have ever boarded our dog, because we know that she is happy there and cared for like a member of the family. Carmen sends photos of Emily playing with the other dogs, sleeping on the couch, and having a ball. Although we use a crate to give her extra security when she travels with us and stays in unfamiliar places, we no longer send the crate to Carmen’s, as she does not use it. She is as comfortable there as in her second home.”

“I came here after reading mixed reviews online, so I wasn’t fully sure what to expect. Honestly, the experience ended up being pretty good. My border collie was covered in mud after a weekend outdoors, and they managed to get him spotless without shaving his coat too short. There was about a twenty-minute delay at pickup because they were understaffed that day, but the front desk apologized and kept customers informed. My dog looked happy, smelled clean, and slept peacefully all evening afterward.”
“Today we took our dog Luna to the veterinarian, Dr. Logan Murray, and we had such a great experience. My husband and I live in Georgetown, and we had trouble finding a good vet for a long time — but we finally found DuPont Veterinary Clinic, and they were amazing.<br><br>Dr. Logan Murray is a genuinely kind and caring person. He treated Luna so gently and patiently, and Luna was very well-behaved thanks to how comfortable he made her feel. The examination was very thorough, and while discussing which vaccines Luna needed, he was extremely honest. If something wasn’t necessary for her, he said so and never tried to push extra services or take our money. That level of honesty really means a lot to us.<br><br>The assistants working there were also amazing — very professional, attentive, and kind. The clinic was spotless and very clean. This was our first time visiting, and we’re pretty sure this will be our regular vet from now on. Even the treats they gave Luna were great!<br><br>Thank you so much for everything. “My cats' treatment has been wonderful at Kenwood. They couldn't have been more caring when one of my cats dropped dead. And they greeted the new cat (a Siberian) enthusiastically, and on his fourth visit called out his name when we entered for a checkup. The assistants and the receptionists are also very welcoming. Yes, with a Jaguar parking can be difficult but the advantages of having caring vets and staff makes up for it.”
