The level of medical care my pets receive is top notch . Every member of the staff are phenomenal. However, Dr. Wooleyhand is true a godsend to my pets and myself. It’s so reassuring to have a vet such as herself , to go above and beyond to ensure my pets receive everything they need . I travel from DC to Rocky Gorge because my pets deserve the best .“

“We have been going to College Park Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They have reliably treated our 3 dogs and now our cat. They are responsive and excellent diagnosticians. Our dogs made it to 15 years old each and I would expect our cat to live longer. Great staff.“
“Animal Place has been amazing. Nobody likes spending a grand on multiple vet services. It’s necessary sometimes. Our Pittie who was suffering from pancreatitis came was seen by the friendly staff. Again, you’re stressed as hell but the doc and staff made this a solid experience. Not every experience has a happy ending. This crew will be taking over primary vet care from here on out for all our animals.“

Yesterday, after much agonizing, we took our beloved Teddy (Wheaten Terrier - 14 years) for a consultation with Dr. Wilmot before having him put down. I called for an appointment yesterday morning and they were completely booked for the week but the very competent and caring lady on the phone (Christina, I believe) said she would check with the vets on duty and call me back, which she did a few minutes later. I arrived at 11:45 and put in a room with my dog until the vet came in and spent a lot of time speaking with me and my son before we collectively arrived at the decision to put him down. “Great place if you just need a quick exam and vaccines. Staff was very friendly and good with my dog. Dr. John was extremely personable, knowledgable, and patient. I never felt rushed. He answered all my questions and gave me some tips. I will be taking my cats to get their vaccines there now too. Do note, they aren't a full service vet, they don't offer any procedures or emergency services, but if all you need is a health exam and vaccines, this is a terrific and affordable option versus paying a typical vet office. Highly recommend.“
