I cannot recommend this funeral home highly enough. As a young person handling funeral arrangements alone for the first time, I had no idea where to begin. Lou and Rich who own and operate the funeral home were incredibly kind, compassionate, and patient throughout the entire process.
I had multiple phone calls with them, and they always took the time to answer my questions and walk me through every step. They never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed, and their guidance gave me a great deal of comfort during an extremely difficult time.

Wellington Rossi and his construction crew did a wonderful job renovating our upstairs bathroom. They gutted the entire bathroom and built a very nice new bathroom. The tub was replaced with a shower and the radiator was replaced with radiant floor heat. Expert team and I would highly recommend their services.

Right before last winter we did about 30 windows (2 floors + a basement laundry room window with vent) and a storm door. Initially I went in to their showroom on Centre Street in West Roxbury and chatted with Mellissa about our needs — she knows windows well! She was very patient in explaining the different window models and why or why not we should go with one vs. another. I felt she was thinking of my needs throughout rather than trying to sell me the most expensive windows. George came in to measure. He was also very friendly and patient in sharing his expertise on whether we should replace some of our newer windows done in 2007. We ended up replacing two of those and leaving two others as was based on his suggestions.
Ordering and scheduling installation was quick as Melissa is very responsive to emails. Installation itself went smoothly. Took 3 crew members to install all our windows over two days, they came in on time at 8am and finished around 1-2pm each day. Cleaned everything up spotlessly inside and outside the house. We did take out the storm windows and moved the furnitures ourselves beforehand though to make this process efficient, so depending on setup installation may take longer or shorter time.
Our old windows were the originals with our house, so about 100 years old. We chose white Harvey classic except one fancy Provia window with a colored-frame -- it turned out so pretty! It was helpful that we stayed during the installation process to check on new windows instead of waiting till everything was done. Our window frames were a bit warped given age, so on the fancy window I wanted some additional adjustments after installation was completed. We also asked not to caulk inside some of the windows as we had plans to take the side planks off to repaint soon. Crew was super friendly and competent and did exactly as I asked.
Again, very happy with the overall process! Checked with other contractors as well, felt King shade/window was very responsive, flexible, fast, and honest. Some other contractors wouldn’t even tell me how much a window typically costs without doing measurements first!
Sylvia has been great. This is my second year working with her. My previous accountant retired. I was really nervous about finding a new accountant. I googled and asked around. I found Sylvia on google and reached out. She was very professional and informative. She provides me with details that help me understand my taxes. She's efficient and is definitely an expert. One thing she does that I really appreciate is she breaks down the taxes whether filed jointly or separately. I find this very helpful. I appreciate working with her.
Both instructor Andrew and instructor John have an excellent sense of humor and tons of patience, while still taking martial arts training seriously and challenging kids to succeed. Both my daughters took lessons here and had a lot of fun while learning a ton.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Townsend for a while now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are professional, gentle, and truly excellent at what they do. You can tell they care about their patients' comfort and long-term dental health.
However, the experience with one person from front desk staff hasn’t been quite as seamless. At times, the interactions can feel a bit dismissive or even rude, which is a shame because the actual dental care is top-tier. The other administrative associates have been excellent! I keep coming back for the expertise, but I hope the office management works on the patient service side of things.

I had a great experience with Dr. Christine Glidden! I began receiving her care when I was 22 weeks pregnant and my lower back and pelvis had completely gotten out of alignment. I had a pinched nerve, was in a ton of pain and could hardly walk. I’m so grateful the Lord led me to MCR chiropractic, and specifically Dr. Glidden, to help relieve this pain and restore my body. Dr Glidden got me on a twice-weekly schedule until I was cleared to go once a week. I couldn’t believe how effective her adjustments were- my pregnancy literally transformed and I was able to more fully enjoy the second trimester bliss once my back pain was relieved! Dr Glidden was attentive to my needs, remembered details from previous visits, and I felt safe and prioritized under her care. Also- for any other moms who are concerned with whether or not a chiropractor is Webster-certified (this was initially very important to me just because of what I’d heard online), I felt completely comfortable with Dr Glidden’s practice despite not having the formal Webster certification. She was very attentive to my pregnancy, explained different methods she was using, tailored her practice to my ever-changing body, offered super helpful at-home exercises, and even had a pregnancy pillow so I could lay face-down which was awesome. I’m now 32 weeks pregnant and feeling way better than I did at 22 weeks. My only disappointment is that she cannot move out of state with me to continue care for the remainder of my pregnancy! I pray I can find another chiropractor as effective as she was. Couldn’t recommend more- you’ll be in great hands!
Matt Gleason was excellent. He replaced a doorknob and installed a new deadbolt for my parents. He works hard and is very patient with customer’s questions. I would hire him again in an instant!

We needed some branches cut away from the house on a pretty tall tree in the city. John came by and gave us an estimate really quickly. He was obviously really knowledgeable about the health of the tree and answered all our questions. He came back a week later, and they arrived early and got the job done no problem. I have been going to Daniela for facials for the past eight years or so. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her facials today are as thorough and detailed as they were when I first began seeing her. Not only is Daniela incredibly knowledgeable about skincare, but she is such a warm and friendly person. I get many compliments on my skin, and I am always telling people it's because of my regular facials with Daniela. If you're on the fence- just do it! You will feel amazing and be back!

I absolutely love Sophia Nail Spa. I only go here for my nails. I like to treat myself to the deluxe pedicure every once in a while since the foot massage is so relaxing. The massage chairs are also comfortable and make you just sink into them. Even my young girls(7 yr old twins) feel pampered when they come. I've never had a bad experience and have been coming here since they opened. Phenomenal service!
