I walked in with a car key issues. Tom checked both keys that have a fob with 3 buttons, he determined the transmission signal was not working properly due to components must be worn. I have an aftermarket car starter for convenience, but unfortunately replacing the key will seize the use of the car starter. He was honest and said I perhaps should go to the dealership for a replacement key. I appreciate the time and the explanation of the options. Thank you Tom
