10 Green St, Jamaica Plain“I’ve been bringing my dogs to JP Animal Clinic for almost 3 years, and I’m only leaving because I’m moving away.
Every vet - Dr. Levine, Dr. Marks, and Carter - we’ve seen has been incredibly knowledgeable and great. This practice does not push unnecessary tests or treatments. The docs will walk me through their thought process and always present options, walking me through decisions in a way that feels collaborative and supportive. They’ve helped us through everything from smaller issues like fleas and post-flea dermatitis to much more serious diagnoses like mast cell tumor and Cushing’s disease. The wait for appointments, diagnostic testing, and surgery is not long. They’ve also gone out of their way to help me find the most cost-effective ways to get my dog a particularly expensive medication. Through it all, I’ve felt confident that my dogs were receiving excellent evidence-based care.
Most importantly, when my dogs walk in, everyone knows them and is genuinely excited to see them. That kind of warmth and familiarity means so much.
The only real downside is parking — it can be a bit tricky in JP— but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of care.
We will truly miss JP Animal Clinic!“

31 Wellesley Ave, Needham Heights“This Veterinary center was very accommodating, clean, professional, well mannered and empathetic. We recently visited the vet and had to hear some tough news. They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.“

1342 Main St, Walpole“By far the most kind human beings on the planet work here. My 16 year old kitty had a huge tumor that they worked on and we ended up having to put her down a week later. The staff is the most loving kind and empathetic people. The doctor was almost actually crying with me. I appreciate how loving they were for my cat and how they gave me encouraging words. It was a very terrible thing but the people who we worked with made it so much more bareable. I am forever grateful for the kindness shown to me and Muffin.“

Is one thing that you one to be there to help your pet other to acknowledge how important is each step by being. Explain so carefully. I loved that I found them. ❤️?“

3840 Washington St Ste 1, Jamaica Plain“It is truly a cat-friendly experience from start to finish. The difference it made in Noche's (and our) comfort was very noticeable, we haven't stopped talking about it at home. The staff were all amazing (we saw Dr. Donovan, a Vet Tech named Alisha and a radiologist tech whose name we didn't catch). Everyone was friendly to us and explained things in a simple way. They kept their voices low, their tones calm and their motions slow - which is to say they were wonderful with Noche. We're facing some scary times for our small best friend and nothing can change that, but the way things were handled at the Boston Cat Hospital allowed us to focus on the problem at hand instead of adding even more stress onto the situation. Would definitely recommend to any cat parents!“

93 Hyde Park Ave, Boston“We have 2 dogs that are frequent flyers at MetroVet. Everyone is so caring with my pups and always helpful with my many phone calls with questions. My dogs are very nervous and we’ve had experiences with other vets where I wasn’t allowed in the exam room or they just didn’t seem to care about my dogs being comfortable there. Here I get to stay with them and they take things slow at their pace and give lots of good treats. We also go right into the exam room and never have to deal with other dogs being too close to us which is also a plus. My dogs love the staff here! ❤️“

359 Worcester St, Natick“We recently took our new puppy to Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital and had a fantastic experience. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist was very kind, and Dr. Stollar and the technicians were excellent. It was obvious that they love animals and care deeply about their work. We’re grateful to have found such a great place to bring our puppy for any care he needs.“

190 Turnpike St, Canton“We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Canton Veterinary Hospital and especially to Dr. Kristin E. Scott for the exceptional care they provide.
Bella recently underwent a complex dental surgery, and her recovery has been remarkable. She ate and drank the same evening, was comfortable, showed no signs of pain, and is clearly feeling well. We are following all prescribed medications and post-operative instructions with full confidence.
The professionalism, skill, and genuine compassion of both the doctor and the staff truly stand out. All of our pets have been patients of this clinic since 2010, and that long-term trust says everything. We consistently feel that our animals are treated with the highest level of care and respect.
Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for knowledgeable, attentive, and truly caring veterinary professionals.“

944 Main St A, Walpole“By far the best vet experience I’ve ever had. I own a flock of Jumbo Pekins, and I couldn’t be more thankful to find such a compassionate vet and tech team! Avian vets are so hard to come by, and I’m so grateful to have found this office. The team is just absolutely amazing.
I brought my littlest girl in last week. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and this weather hasn’t been too kind for a healthy flock to flourish. I found her unable to walk, limping severely, and not herself (she’s spicy). I took her in and the doc found a tiny puncture with mild swelling at the bottom of her foot. I would have never found this. She put her on anti inflammatories and miracles happened. Like, I mean, real miracles. She was not well.
(The picture in the towel is from the day I brought her in. The standing photo is three days later. )
Now, I was so impressed I brought the rest of the flock in today. Such a great day. First off, they served the ducks worm water cocktails upon arrival (their favorite! And pictured below). They got their little beaks and feet rubbed by the vet tech with oils because they were cracking a bit from this cold. My drake was so happy and stood so proud. Also, our household is so relieved to know they are doing good and super healthy.
THANK YOU!“

459 Worcester St, Wellesley Hills“We've had cats in a dozen towns and cities across four states, and the Cat's Hospital is the best cat vet we've had. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. More important, our cats get great care, from routine checkups to treating issues small and large. And we never feel as if they're doing something just for the money--no ridiculously expensive tests with no effect on care, as we've had in many other places.“

592 Providence Hwy, Dedham“I recently lost my sister and moved in with my brother in-law to help with the care of my sister’s 10 yr old yorkie and their 2 yr old 140 lb Rottweiler Tank whom would NOT go to the vet. Dr Martinez not only made it convenient for us, he is reasonably priced. During a difficult time when most people take advantage, Dr Martinez is honest and kind, and only has you do what is absolutely necessary. Unlike those other “emergency clinics” that I have made the mistake of going to multiple times prior that cost 250$ just to walk in the door. I am forever grateful to Dr Martinez and the girls for taking my panic calls and listening to me ramble and cry when I thought something was seriously wrong with the little dog Ryder. They are the best!“

326 Bridge St, Dedham“My dog recently underwent TPLO surgery after a CCL tear and I am so grateful for the exceptional care he received at Boston Veterinary Specialists. From start to finish everyone we encountered was not only professional and knowledgeable, but incredibly kind and patient.
My boy is a high-energy german shepherd mix - full of personality, very chaotic at times, and prone to separation anxiety. I was nervous going into this, but the staff handled him with such grace and understanding. They treated him like he was their own and that level of care made all the difference.
Leaving him for surgery was incredibly emotional, but knowing he was in such capable hands gave me so much comfort. The team kept me informed, answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly, and provided detailed instructions for post-op care. They made what could have been an overwhelming process feel smooth and manageable.
I feel lucky to have found a place that combines top-tier medical expertise with heartfelt compassion. I am beyond thankful to everyone who helped my pup on his road to recovery. This team is truly something special and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.“

“I cannot begin to explain how thankful we are for Dr. Marks, Steph, and the rest of the staff. Our dog had a sudden injury, unable to move her left rear leg and was in extreme pain. We were absolutely distraught and stopped by the office for ann evaluation. We were greeted with opened arms, Callie was made comfortable and was very well taken care of. Dr. Marks was compassionate, conducted an excellent exam, and walked us through our options multiple times. It will be a long road ahead for Callie but we appreciate everything Dr. Marks and his team have done thus far for our Callie girl.“
