Everett was pleasant to deal with, he gave a timely competitive quote and when agreed to, he scheduled the sub-contractor fairly quickly. Everett came to the property the first day to make sure all started off well. In 4 days, the job was done, and was left in a very clean condition. The team was very professional as well. Throughout the job, Everett was always available by mail or phone to address any questions or concerns. Everett is very professional. “We called Thor Construction from a recommendation. Our roof had sprung a leak in a bad storm and Bill from Thor came out within an hour of my calling. He inspected it and told me the back, dormered portion needed to be redone. The rest of the roof had a good 4 or 5 years left, he said. He recommended rigid insulation, adding ventilation that was non-existent, and going with a rubber membrane.They did the work within a weeks time as promised and in one day! We checked out the roof ourselves and everything looked immaculate. They flashed the chimney up about 6 inches, and added all vents as promised. There was no damage or debris left behind either. The quote they gave was right on as well.Bill even did a drive by the next day to check it out--the only way I knew is that he called to say there was a piece of roofing that slipped onto the front of the roof that they had missed. He said he'd come by in a day with a ladder to get it down. Good follow up too.I'd definitely recommend them, and definitely use them again!“

“Working with Donald and his team was great!We bought a house at the peak of the covid housing market (July '21) and did a small addition as well as gut renovated our Kitchen. When we had issues getting contractors to come out and quote we knew the timing of our project wasn't going to be ideal and feared the worst. Then we met Donald... thank god. He was reliable, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. Many things during covid got delayed (windows, hardware, etc. on back order) but whenever an item came in or a subcontractor finished his work Donald's team was ready the next day helping move the project along. You won't go wrong getting to work with him. What showed me the level of commitment and care he had was when he install a pocket door. I had purchased the door... he could have left after 2 hours with a result of "The door fits... but doesn't slide that well in the pocket because of some factory defects of your door...." became Donald spending 8 hours to help plane the door down and widen the pocket/wall (repainting the wall a second time) so that he left with it being " Perfect, it slides effortlessly in and out as it should". Like a homeowner, he wants to go to sleep knowing he finished every project at 110%.“

Kevin took our Master bedroom, and transformed it to have an on-suite master bathroom. He was always in communication with scheduling, and when things in the field popped up that required any changes to plan, He always kept us in the know. He provided his expertise but allowed us to make the final decision to make sure we ended up with our dream bathroom. In the end, we got a perfect bathroom that came in right on budget!

“I have hired Kneeland several times over the past twenty years or so. Most recently, they did a large renovation of my moms house, including installing central air, installing new kitchen and master bath, re-routing dryer vent, installing 28 new windows, new gutters and more. In my home, they have done very big projects (raising the roof to create more interior space, adding a front foyer, etc.) as well as small ones. They've helped me out with little jobs that they probably don't really want to do, but since I am a repeat customer, we have developed a relationship. I have a woodpecker busy destroying shingles at the back of my house--very persistent devil--and although it wasn't dirt cheap, Kneeland did come to repair the shingles. Unfortunately, the woodpecker is back making new holes. Not Kneeland's fault, though. They are reasonable in price. I hired them to renovate my mom's house after her death, and the work came out great, though because of Covid, the job took longer. Carl's experience allowed him to make useful suggestions about various aspects of the renovation, in order to make the house more salable. I would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them to others.“
