“The project involved a house that was built in the 50s. We worked with Eds team and redesigned the layout of the house entirely. All that remained of the original house was the foundation and most of the framing. McDonald Contracting basically built a new home.With regards to the quality of work my wife and I could not be happier. Ed has a really good team of qualified subcontractors and he does a great job of coordinating their work.The project manager worked incredibly well with my wife and was always available, she had great ideas and added tremendous value to this project.“

“Jim and his son Henry came to replace some faucets for us and troubleshoot several older sink and shower faucets and drains. We have allergies in our family, and he and his son took extra care to keep us safe, which was very appreciated. They are able to come scent-free if anyone in your family is sensitive to scents! Jim is very knowledgeable and helped me order the right parts to fix everything properly. He and his son were both extremely pleasant and helpful, highly recommend!“

“I had a phenomenal experience with Crescent Plumbing & Drain. I had a water heater in Medford that needed to be replaced immediately. My home warranty company assigned it to Crescent. Their rates were the most competitive that I saw (as I also did my own research for competitive rates). They were available two days later but when I told them it was urgent, they squeezed me in the next morning at 7 am and completed the job the same day. I had a great experience. Elizabeth did a great job communicating with me and keeping me updated. She was very patient and generous with her time and addressed all my questions and concerns. Ken did the work, and while he was replacing the heater, he noticed some other work that required follow up soon and was kind enough to point it out and take pictures for my awareness. “We brought in Peter and his team to update our nursery and bathroom as we prepare for a little one. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the work and the effort they took to care for the rest of the house. They put down temporary flooring throughout the house to protect the floors, used a large ventilation fan and vacuums to control dust, and cleaned up the whole path from the door to their working area every day before they left. Very professional and appreciated. The quality of the work was excellent as well. My husband provided Peter rough drawings of our vision for the two projects and Peter and his foreman worked with us to refine them into a beautiful outcome. They helped address any issues that came up and added high quality finishing touches we would not have though of (such as running the bath tile all the way to the floor in front of the tub, see pics). Their tile work is especially excellent. They also built a custom bed frame for the nursery and even used mahogany for it without us asking and at no additional charge. Communications were done by email or in person, although we would have appreciated more regular updates on the daily schedule and work tasks. Overall a five star experience based in quality, cost, and experience. If our new little one tears the walls out, I would definitely have Peter and his team back.“
