Shifu Lindsay Lambert is an excellent teacher with a broad range of martial arts expertise -- she often says that good Tai Chi is relevant to everything, mentioning principles of Choy Lay Fut, Sanda, Shuai Jiao, and other arts. The Tai Chi class environment is friendly and motivating, while also cultivating depth and seriousness when it comes to technique. It feels like the kind of training I want to be doing for a long time. I started attending not long after a surgery, and Shifu Lindsay checked in with me to make sure the training and conditioning was going well and feeling doable as I recovered. Every week I feel more and more natural in the foundational Tai Chi I'm learning, and Qigong and conditioning exercises have been perfect for getting mobile and flexible again after a period of inactivity.
