Master Sikula is a fantastic instructor. He keeps the atmosphere fun, does new activities each class to keep the kids engaged, and I’m always impressed how much he fits into a half hour. We feel very lucky to have stumbled on such a great karate school. We’ve tried other types of classes with my son and this is the first one that really sparked his interest and has kept us coming back. “When we first signed up our three children in karate class at Personal Best Karate in Easton, MA, we weren't sure what to expect as my wife and I did not participate in karate classes when we were young. All we hoped for was a fun after-school activity the kids could all participate in together. After a few years now, I can't imagine our kids not doing karate anymore as they love it so much. They are super excited to get their karate uniforms on and always ask if tonight is a karate night. If they had their way, they would go to karate class every night! “So happy we found One Step Beyond! My boys (6 and 9) tried soccer, baseball, flag football, but nothing “stuck” until we discovered karate back in March 2021. Fast forward to two classes a week (soon to be 4 ?), 2 belt tests and now a competition team/weapons (all dull, nothing sharp here), my boys couldn’t be happier. Sensei Marie and Sensei Erin are wonderful with the kids and it’s a wide range of all ages and backgrounds. “We discovered this place through a few neighbors. We signed my son and daughter up for classes over a year ago and they love it. Sensei Kathy has a great rapport with all of her kids. It is great exercise, good skills and even a little fun mixed in. Sensei even goes out of her way to have nice events for the children such as movie night, Halloween parties and other events. We also has my daughters birthday party here and all the kids had a blast. I would highly recommend!!!“
