“A&A did a great job replacing the rubber roof over my sunroom. In estimating the job, Sean spotted potential problems that other contractors missed. It cost a little more, but the additional work will extend the life of the rest of my home’s roof.

When the crew arrived for the job, they took special care to ensure that our flower garden was not harmed. The crew was efficient removing and disposing of the old roofing. When the roofing was stripped it revealed rot on some of the underlying structure, Eric, the crew leader showed me the damage and explained what it would take to fix the problem. The contract covered such a contingency The job was supposed to take a day but the additional extended the work time. None the less, Aurel and the crew stayed until the job was done—a 12 hour day!

Everything was cleaned up at the end. The roof looks great.

“I had 4 projects in July-August 2024, it was for repairs on plastering and painting for water damaged ceilings inside my house. Carpentry repairs on the outside of the house and a complete painting of the house. I also had my outside deck completely replaced with new decking and composite railings. All projects were completed in a very timely manner. Pricing for all the projects was very fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend Patrick and his team for any type of work you might have. His workers always cleaned up every day they worked and were very reliable and respectful working in and around my house. My wife and I are very pleased at the work that was completed.“

“First off- Mike and Peter are two people that I feel are closer to your new best friends than actual contractors. They are two of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met doing this sort of work. I unexpectedly had to gut two shower inserts in a multi-family building. Mike, Peter, Nick, and Pederson were here literally the next day at 7am ready to go, and continued to be every day until we were done. I was never left guessing on schedule, or timeline. Their work quality was excellent, and I even had them sort out a couple other odd-jobs I had on site while they were here. Communication was brilliant, and they were very realistic with me on everything they were encountering as they went through it. They communicate well with my plumber, and even held them accountable on a couple things on my behalf. I literally cannot recommend these guys enough.

Mike has also now referred me to my primary plumber and electrician which are also BRILLIANT. Great people find other great people I guess!

Stop looking around and call these guys for any sort of construction or HVAC needs you may have!

Honestly my only complaint is that Mike is so tall and handsome that It's really hard to be self-confident when you're around someone of such stature and grandeur. He's also a ninja I am fairly positive. Be warned he only accepts payment in precious gemstones.

“Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple homes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter. “JP converted a half-bath of mine, into a full bath (shower) and made the use of the space so much better, that the bathroom actually feels bigger. Everything had to be moved and a window have to be removed. You would never know that window was ever there: the cedar shingles on the outside match perfectly! He kept to the time schedule he gave me, right from day one. His recommendations for flooring and fixtures was spot-on. He was always pleasant. And the work was the highest quality. The bathroom is one that I'm very proud of. I was so happy with the work done by JP, that I had him do additional work: removing a through-the-wall air conditioner, replacing missing trim in a bedroom (matching the old trim which is not made any more), and dry-wall plastering in my dining room.
