“I own several triple deckers in the Boston area and have had BRC Renovations do a complete roof replacement on on about two years ago. The job was completed on time and at a very reasonable price and I've had no problems since. At the same time they rebuilt the chimney from the roof deck up. They removed all the debris and kept the area clean on a daily basis. I have had them do various repairs at another similar flat roof building as well and I will have them do a complete roof replacement on that building within the year.I can't emphasize how important it is to me that they are responsive to emergency requests for fast turn-around repairs as well as top quality workmanship.“

“Athanas Construction is run by Nick Athanas who does general contracting. I have used Athanas Construction twice in the last year. Once to replace my roof, and again to change the exterior trim on a large rotting window frame.While Athanas Construction is located in the South Shore (Weymouth), they are willing and able to come into Boston, which is a huge plus in my book, since I live in Roslindale which is not easily accessibe to any major highway.I found the service to be great. To begin with, the communication is fast and clear. Nick Athanas will get back to me by phone, email, or text. He is clear about when he is coming, what he will be working on, how much it will cost, and he let's me know the schedule in advance. If he has a schedule change, he also let's me know in advance. He uses a simple but effective online app called Joist to bill me which shows how much I have paid so far, and how much I owe.Second, the Athanas team does a great job. For both jobs that I ordered, the final product was solidly built and looks great. I am a happy customer.Finally, while it's not cheap, I find Athanas pricing to be very reasonable and more affordable than other companies. When I was pricing my new roof, I talked with 4 different companies, and Athanas estimate came in at the lowest price. Furthermore, Nick is willing to discuss options to keep costs low, which some contractors won't do.I truly recommend Athanas Construction for any contracting work in the Boston area.“

“update October 2021: I was able to connect with Eric. It appears possible that the new/originally is originating from my neighboring townhome side.update September 2021: Unfortunately, I had another water leak in the exact same area that they had tried to fix. I tried contacting the owner Eric a few times by email and voicemail and he did not respond.I rely heavily on reviews myself. Based on the reviews for this provider, I chose them. My experience was entirely consistent with the others. This is an outstanding company. I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use them in the future. I used them three years ago to repair significant water damage from the leak. The total cost for this damage was approximately $13,000. They did a very good job and I was very happy with their work. A few months ago I had another leak from a faulty appliance installation. I also had some additional water damage in the corner of the basement which it was unclear where the water was coming from. They were able to diagnose and reproduce the leak. John did a fair amount of the work. I'm hoping he gets a nice raise in the future. He is an amazing worker. Everyone we worked with was great. I hope I do not have to work with them again for a water leak. If I do have any future issues I will definitely call them up. For the most recent work, the total charge was approximately $13,000. While this is a lot of money, I do think they are fairly priced and provide great quality.Services: Exterior painting“
