“Lost hot water at the shower and likely culprit was the Moen PosiTemp cartridge. No problem. Went to HD, bought the cartridge, came home and tried to remove the old one. Hahaha Did. Not. Budge. Tried to rip the thing out for over an hour, but it was so corroded it had fused with the faucet. It was about 4pm when I started to panic. Couldn't put the control valve back together because it was so f broken. Basically an open tap. I looked up a Waltham plumber with some good reviews and called Hickey's Plumbing. Michael answered, understood the problem and said he would be there within the hour. He was there in 40 min. Michael and the guy he was working with were there right away when I needed help, fixed it so I could turn the water back on, ordered the parts and came back in a day to install them. Both Michael and his assistant plumber were fast and professional.“

Stephen not only cleaned out my heat pump, but he found A LOT of problems while working on my unit (enough to reduce my Eversource bill significantly). He and his brother, Kevin (two of the friendliest, most salt-of-the-earth guys) also reinstalled a thermostat that was put in improperly. It was the kind of business I wanted - no overselling, good work, straight-forward business. I was expecting a bill that would break the bank. I couldn't believe how fair they were with their price. Chambers is my new Heating and A.C service, and I highly recommend them to everyone I know. Don't go with the big businesses - go with these guys. “Our basement bathroom got clogged and it looks like a messy job. I posted a job on a website and Andrew did a wonderful job to fix it! He was patient with my explanation and estimated the situation thoroughly. He explained his plan to me with a couple of options to fix it as well as the pros and cons of each one. I understood everything completely before he started the job.The process was just like what he said, step by step. And during the process, he gave me heads up about there may be a little bit sewage water flowing out on the floor, but he said he will prepare a large piece of plastic sheet to lay and stick it to protect the floor and wall from getting dirty. As a result, he not only repaired the clogged pipe, but also cleaned/wiped and disinfected all the touched surfaces.
